Story
Meet Lonny – Your Adventure Buddy (and Cuddle Champion)! Looking for a loyal companion who’s always up for an outdoor adventure and down for cozy snuggles? Meet Lonny – a mature, well-mannered pup with a gentle soul, a heart full of love, and a nubby tail that never stops wagging! Lonny is past his teenage phase and comes with a calm, confident energy that makes him a joy to be around. He’s sweet, respectful, and makes fast friends with people and other dogs alike. He’s done wonderfully in doggy playgroups here at the Ranch and would likely thrive in a home with other canine companions. He’s an outdoorsy guy who loves walks, hikes, and especially swimming—but he’s just as happy to curl up next to you for some serious cuddle time. And trust us, Lonny is the ultimate cuddle partner. He forms strong bonds with his people and always wants to be close. When he’s in the mood for attention (which is often!), he shows off his signature move: flopping one shoulder to the ground with his hind end in the air, nubby tail wagging, waiting patiently for some well-deserved butt scritches. Lonny already knows his basic commands like "Sit" and "Wait", walks beautifully on leash, and—bonus—he doesn’t hop fences. If you’re looking for a mature, affectionate, adventure-ready dog who’s just as happy on the trail as he is on the couch, Lonny is your guy. Call the Ranch today to schedule your meet-and-snuggle with Lonny! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.  All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       October 10, 2025, 1:09 pm

Story
Meet Rambo – a big-hearted, intelligent boy looking for a dog-savvy home, ideally with experience in Dobermans or similar guarding breeds. Before we tell you all the wonderful things about him, it’s important to be upfront: Rambo needs a home with experienced handlers who understand large, working breeds — especially those familiar with the unique needs and temperament of Dobermans. He’ll thrive in a calm, structured environment with confident leadership and clear boundaries. Once he trusts you, Rambo is the biggest lovebug around. He adores his people and will lean his tall frame gently against you for all the pets and kisses he can get. Despite his size, he’s incredibly polite — no jumping, no pushy behavior — just a sweet, soulful guy who wants to be close to his humans. Rambo is smart as a whip and already knows a long list of commands: Sit, Paw, Down, Stay, Spin — and he’s even muzzle trained. He’s got the foundation of an obedience rockstar and would love a home that can continue nurturing his mind with training and mental engagement. While Rambo hasn’t had direct off-leash play with other dogs, he has shown calm, tolerant behavior around them through the fence — even with small dogs. He may do well with another respectful, low-energy dog who gives him space and doesn’t jump on him. Physically, Rambo may have a condition often referred to as “long back syndrome” — where his spine is slightly too long for his muscular structure. While he gets around just fine, this can cause occasional soreness. Because of this, he’ll need a family who can accommodate his physical needs, including managing his activity level and ensuring he’s not being roughed up by other pets. Supportive care, joint supplements, and a comfortable home setup will go a long way in keeping him happy and healthy. Rambo is loyal, loving, and incredibly rewarding to work with. In the right home — one with breed knowledge, structure, and physical awareness — he’s going to absolutely thrive. Think you’re the right fit for Rambo? Call the Ranch to learn more about this special boy today. He’s ready to find the safe, loving home he truly deserves. Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Meet Timeless Teto — a one-of-a-kind shepherd with a whole lot of heart! If you're looking for a loyal, energetic, and goofy companion who thrives on play, Teto might just be your perfect match! This handsome guy is bursting with personality and looking for a dog-savvy home that understands how to respect his boundaries and meet him where he's at emotionally and physically. Teto is a toy connoisseur—he absolutely lives for toys! Squeaky, bouncy, chewy—you name it, he wants it. Providing him with a good variety of toys is a surefire way to keep this clever pup happy and mentally enriched. He also plays well with other dogs when introduced in the right environment. While he may prefer having his own space at home, he’s proven to be a polite and fun playmate with the right canine pals. That said, Teto isn’t the type of dog who enjoys crowded spaces or chaotic environments. Loud, bustling settings just aren't his thing. He’s much more comfortable and confident when he has room to breathe and time to adjust. Because of this, he may be happiest in a home where he can live primarily outdoors—especially if you’ve got a secure yard, open land, or a more rural property where he can stretch his legs, chase his toys, and enjoy life at his own pace. Teto is looking for a special person or family—someone experienced with a variety of dog personalities and confident in giving him the space, structure, and patience he needs to thrive. Once he bonds with you, he’s all in—and that bond will be deep, rewarding, and full of joy. Ready to meet your loyal shadow, fetch partner, and best friend? Call the Ranch to meet Teto today!   Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog.
