Story
Meet Lonny – Your Adventure Buddy (and Cuddle Champion)! Looking for a loyal companion who’s always up for an outdoor adventure and down for cozy snuggles? Meet Lonny – a mature, well-mannered pup with a gentle soul, a heart full of love, and a nubby tail that never stops wagging! Lonny is past his teenage phase and comes with a calm, confident energy that makes him a joy to be around. He’s sweet, respectful, and makes fast friends with people and other dogs alike. He’s done wonderfully in doggy playgroups here at the Ranch and would likely thrive in a home with other canine companions. He’s an outdoorsy guy who loves walks, hikes, and especially swimming—but he’s just as happy to curl up next to you for some serious cuddle time. And trust us, Lonny is the ultimate cuddle partner. He forms strong bonds with his people and always wants to be close. When he’s in the mood for attention (which is often!), he shows off his signature move: flopping one shoulder to the ground with his hind end in the air, nubby tail wagging, waiting patiently for some well-deserved butt scritches. Lonny already knows his basic commands like "Sit" and "Wait", walks beautifully on leash, and—bonus—he doesn’t hop fences. If you’re looking for a mature, affectionate, adventure-ready dog who’s just as happy on the trail as he is on the couch, Lonny is your guy. Call the Ranch today to schedule your meet-and-snuggle with Lonny! Read Lonny's Dog of the Week post here: https://rrdog.org/dw/lonny/ Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.  All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       January 23, 2026, 2:37 pm

She’ll happily stay right by your side during walks, soaking up all the love and attention she can. Whether it's a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood or a playful session in the yard, she’s game for whatever makes you happy! Meet Barrett! Looking for a playful, toy-carrying bundle of joy to add some fun to your life? Barrett’s your guy! This young pup is all about love—for his people and his favorite toys. You’ll catch him proudly parading around with one (or two!) toys in his mouth, showing off like the superstar he is. Barrett grew up right here at the shelter and has even rocked a few socialization classes, so he’s a total pro at making doggie friends. He’d be over the moon to have some furry siblings at home or to hit the dog park for some playtime adventures. He’s at his absolute best when he’s in a familiar spot—give him a cozy, known space, and watch his confidence (and tail!) wag to full speed. Ready for endless playdates and toy parades? Call the Ranch today and come meet Barrett—the happiest, goofiest new buddy you didn’t know you needed! Chewy treats—they’re her absolute favorite.
