Renegade has spent years waiting for his forever home! This special boy will be an amazing companion for an experienced, dog-savvy handler. Could it be you? Renny simply loves to play in the water. He's had a lot of training and knows Sit, Shake, and Lay Down. He walks well on leash too. Renegade is great with other dogs of all sizes but doesn't like overconfident males. He can be choosy with his humans but when he knows and trusts you, he's attentive and easy to work with. Call the Ranch to meet this handsome boy today. Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Story
Dasher has grown up here at the shelter so he is very well socialized with other dogs. He generally prefers dogs his size or smaller as dogs larger than him tend to scare him. He can be a bit shy around new people but grows comfortable very quickly with patience and treats.   Puppy adoptions are $300. Most Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. Puppies will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. Before going home, at minimum, all of our puppies will have received the first two puppy shots for parvo and distemper, and been dewormed. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian. Puppies are also microchipped and registered with 24PetWatch . We require spay/neutering at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds) by our veterinarian, when they will also be given their first rabies vaccine. Alternatively adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required). All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       September 17, 2024, 7:30 pm

Hi there! I'm Sweetie! I'm just under a year old and full of love to give! I was found as a stray, but I've been in a wonderful foster home where I've learned a lot and gotten lots of TLC. I'm now microchipped, vaccinated, and spayed-ready to find my forever home! I ride well in the car and walk nicely on a leash. I'm learning "sit and "down, and I'm great with other dogs and cats. I've been crated at night and I always let you know when I need to go outside. I love being around my people and want nothing more than to please you and be by your side. If you're looking for a loyal companion who's eager to be with you and make you smile, I'm your girl. Let's make some memories together! Paws and kisses, Sweetie

Story
Rex was adopted by my husband from a home where he wore a muzzle and didn’t have a yard. He has high anxiety with new people and other dogs. He quickly learned to trust my husband and followed him everywhere. Then my husband passed away. He does trust me and now follows me around. I had to move after I lost my husband, from 14 acres in the country, to a place with a small yard and very close neighbors. He does ok with my other 2 dogs but not when he sees other strange dogs. he needs someone with patience to gain his trust and willing to work with him/experienced in dealing with past trauma issues. A large fenced yard away from close neighbors, no kids and no other dogs would probably be ideal. He is sweet to me but doesn’t like me trying to clean his ears, etc. He is smart, likes to play with his ball, very food motivated, has a kennel and sometimes will go in and nap in there on his own. I leave him in the kennel if I go somewhere.
