Meet Timeless Teto — a one-of-a-kind shepherd with a whole lot of heart! If you're looking for a loyal, energetic, and goofy companion who thrives on play, Teto might just be your perfect match! This handsome guy is bursting with personality and looking for a dog-savvy home that understands how to respect his boundaries and meet him where he's at emotionally and physically. Teto is a toy connoisseur—he absolutely lives for toys! Squeaky, bouncy, chewy—you name it, he wants it. Providing him with a good variety of toys is a surefire way to keep this clever pup happy and mentally enriched. He also plays well with other dogs when introduced in the right environment. While he may prefer having his own space at home, he’s proven to be a polite and fun playmate with the right canine pals. That said, Teto isn’t the type of dog who enjoys crowded spaces or chaotic environments. Loud, bustling settings just aren't his thing. He’s much more comfortable and confident when he has room to breathe and time to adjust. Because of this, he may be happiest in a home where he can live primarily outdoors—especially if you’ve got a secure yard, open land, or a more rural property where he can stretch his legs, chase his toys, and enjoy life at his own pace. Teto is looking for a special person or family—someone experienced with a variety of dog personalities and confident in giving him the space, structure, and patience he needs to thrive. Once he bonds with you, he’s all in—and that bond will be deep, rewarding, and full of joy. Ready to meet your loyal shadow, fetch partner, and best friend? Call the Ranch to meet Teto today!   Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       October 10, 2025, 6:39 pm

Meet Renegade – Your Loyal Protector with a Heart of Gold! If you're looking for a dog with the strength to make you feel safe and the heart to make you feel loved, Renegade might just be your perfect match. With his impressive size and deep bark, he certainly looks the part of a fearless guardian—but underneath that tough exterior is a big softie who adores his people and lives for snuggles and playtime. Renegade is a smart cookie who already knows his basics like Sit, Shake, and Down, and he’s always ready to show them off—especially if treats are involved! He’s also a true water lover who will happily spend his summer days splashing in a doggy pool or lounging in a pond. Social and confident with dogs his size, Renegade seems to enjoy the company of friendly female dogs the most, but he’d also be just as happy soaking up all your attention as your one and only. Either way, he’s loyal to the core and thrives in a home where he’s treated as family. Because of his size and strength, Renegade would do best with someone experienced in large breeds—someone who understands his needs, appreciates his intelligence, and will continue guiding him as the amazing companion he’s meant to be. Meet Journey – A Smart, Well-Behaved Young Boy Ready for His Forever Home! Journey is a young dog who already knows all the important house manners. After spending nearly a year in a home, he’s fully potty trained and comfortable with commands like “Sit,” “Stay,” “Wait,” “Come,” and “Go in Crate.” He’s not just smart — Journey is friendly and social, loving people of all ages. He would make a wonderful family dog! He also gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having one or two female canine companions to keep him company and active. Having grown up around large livestock, Journey could be a great fit for a ranch or farm lifestyle where he can explore and have plenty of room to roam. Journey has met cats before and might do well with the right introduction, but he does show some interest in chasing them. With training, this could improve, but he might be happiest in a home without small animals. If you’re looking for a loyal, well-mannered boy ready to join your family, Journey can’t wait to meet you! Call the Ranch today to come say hello!   Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.   Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination. All puppies are also microchipped and registered with 24PetWatch.   We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds)  by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required), and a portion of the cost will be refunded.   All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       December 17, 2025, 12:54 pm

Meet Dusty (a.k.a. Templeton)! Dusty is a gentle giant with a heart full of love and a deep affection for his people. This big, sweet boy recently found his way back to us after his former family, who clearly adored him, sadly fell on hard times and could no longer provide the care he deserves. Now, Dusty is hoping for a fresh start and a forever home where he can shower his humans with the same love he's always had to give. From the moment you meet him, Dusty’s warm, calm presence is impossible to miss. He’s never met a person he didn’t love—he greets everyone with quiet confidence and a wagging tail, eager to show off his gentle, well-mannered nature. Dusty is a polite pup who already has a few tricks up his sleeve. He knows “Sit,” “Down,” and walks beautifully on a leash. He’s also got great manners—no jumping, no pulling—just a calm, steady companion by your side. While Dusty would likely thrive as your one-and-only, he might do well with the right calm, independent female dog who respects his laid-back energy. If you're looking for a big-hearted best friend who's past the puppy chaos but still full of life and love, Dusty is your guy. Call the Ranch today to come meet this gentle soul—you’ll fall in love the moment you look into his eyes. Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Meet LouLou – The Ball-Loving Brainiac! Looking for a smart, spunky companion with a love for fun and a heart full of affection? LouLou might be your perfect match! This stunning girl has been with us since March 2024, and while she’s had a few short-term homes, none were quite the right fit — usually due to not enough space or mental stimulation for her active mind. Her previous adopters, including a kind elderly couple, recognized that LouLou needed more than they could offer and lovingly returned her to help her find the life she deserves. LouLou is a true gem who thrives with people of all ages and would make a fantastic addition to a young, active family. She’s the life of the party — especially when there’s a ball involved! Whether it’s fetch or a silly game of keep-away, LouLou is happiest when she’s playing and engaging with her humans. Highly intelligent and eager to learn, LouLou already knows commands like “Sit” and “Wait,” and she’d love to keep building her skills with someone who enjoys training and mental games. She’s done well with a few dog buddies here at the shelter, so she may enjoy living with the right, respectful canine companion. If you’ve got the time, space, and love to give a playful, brainy pup who’s just waiting for her forever family — LouLou’s ready to meet you! Story
Meet Sabrina – A Quiet, Thoughtful Soul Looking for a Patient Home Sabrina has had a challenging start in life. She was displaced by a fire as a young pup and spent a couple of years in a home before coming to the Ranch. These experiences have shaped her into a sensitive, thoughtful dog who needs a calm, steady environment to feel safe. At first, Sabrina can be shy and cautious, taking her time to build trust with new people. Once that bond is formed, however, she becomes deeply loyal and affectionate. She thrives in calm, confident households where her humans understand that gentle encouragement and patience are key. Sabrina enjoys the company of other dogs, especially smaller, confident pups who help her feel secure, and she has shown she can coexist peacefully with cats. She’s happiest with quiet routines, gentle play, and slow introductions to new experiences. This intelligent girl already knows Sit and has excellent leash manners, making walks manageable—but she appreciates a calm pace and isn’t ready for high-energy environments or overly busy homes. She delights in toys and quiet play, and she enjoys snuggling with her humans once she feels safe. Sabrina is not a dog for an outgoing, fast-paced household. She needs someone patient, understanding, and committed to giving her the time she needs to feel secure. With the right slow, loving home, Sabrina will reward her family with gentle companionship, loyalty, and quiet affection. Ready to meet this thoughtful, sensitive girl? Call the Ranch today to see if Sabrina is the perfect fit for your calm and patient home. Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
All p uppies are also microchipped and registered with  911PetChip .
