ROSA -- INSTANT COMPANION  ***WHAT A DOG!*** LOCATED IN VOLUSIA COUNTY, FL (Orange City) *** PLEASE SHARE THE POST   Available for adoption or fostering --   Rosa's humans were no longer in a physical or financial position to care for her and agreed to let GRATEFUL PAWS step in and provide the vet care she needed to and find her a new home.   She has been fully vetted (spayed/chipped/ vaccinated, etc.) and is doing GREAT in her temporary foster home, but she is ready for her own forever home now.     She is a German Shepherd, about 4 years old and weighs about 65 lbs. She is a healthy, happy and spirited dog who loves to chase almost anything! Good old-fashioned sticks are her favorite, but she WILL dart after squirrels, birds or other critters.   She is well behaved in the home and totally housebroken. She knows sit, stay, down and gives 'PAW', both left and right! She is food motivated and is gentle with food and treats. She LOVES to ride in the car or the golf cart -- and gets very excited when she gets to go anywhere with her 'humans'.   She would be a good single dog, what we call an INSTANT COMPANION! Rosa has a sweet temperament but still needs a little TLC to overcome her fear of new things.  We have not had her around small children - and a home with no other pets would probably be best.  We have taken her to a trainer and she is making progress - She has come a very long way since    Her true background is unknown, but she can be hesitant and shows signs of fear when meeting new people. Rosa needs a dog savvy, patient new owner who is able to work with her on becoming more socialized. She is going to make a wonderful companion for someone...     Interested? Email for an application. jmilbyer@gmail.com-  Adoption fee $250. And if you foster for us, we provide EVERYTHING YOU NEED - so it costs you NOTHING but your time and a little love.    AND share this post please... Thanks November 18, 2025, 11:26 am

Story
Cece is a 5-year-old purebred Rottweiler weighing 125 pounds. Despite her size, she is a mellow, friendly, lovable girl. She gets along with children, smaller dogs, but has not been cat tested. She has been professionally trained and has no aggression at all (she may be reactive to other dogs when she is on a leash, but once corrected, she becomes docile and playful). She travels well in a vehicle and walks well on a leash. Her adoption donation is $400, which includes her spay, vaccinations, and microchip.. She is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. She is currently in a foster home and we are requesting an approved application prior to a meet and greet. This beautiful, gentle giant is waiting for her forever home. https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/store/p67/Cece.html We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida. Story
Wes is a 2-year-old Rottweiler mix weighing 70 pounds. He is very affectionate and friendly with people, but he is still learning to get along with other dogs. So he would need a home as the only pet. He should be great with kids. His adoption donation is $250, which includes his neuter, vaccinations, and microchip. He is currently in a foster home, but he has to find his Forever Home very soon. We are requesting an approved application prior to a meet and greet. Please come to meet this sweet boy! https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/store/p94/Wes.html We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida.
