Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.BENJI is perhaps the shiniest, curliest and most handsome black miniature poodle in rescue.  He is 5.5 yr old and weighs 15#. He is happy to show off his athletic skills or surprise you with his apparent high IQ. When BENJI was surrendered he was very insecure and anxious. He has since made some 4-legged friends and quickly attached himself to his foster Mom and is settling into his new temporary home while he awaits that perfect family. That family needs to expect another adjustment period. BENJI will need a home with a fenced yard and is NOT APPROPRIATE for an apartment or condominium, as he can be noisy when first left alone. He is a very loving and quiet dog when he is with you. He is looking for a home without a lot of time alone and if there is a 4-legged friend that is good but not totally necessary. BENJI is now comfortable going to a kennel to eat and a kennel to sleep near his foster mom.  He has done well with housebreaking. He gets very excited when his halter and leash come out and eagerly jumps in the car. BENJI is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, Heartworm negative and has had a vet evaluation. His adoption fee is $400 and if you are wondering if this faithful young adult is for you, please put in an application found on the website below. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Welcome SAMSON to our home.  This mellow guy is an owner surrender who came from a retired couple that are experiencing medical problems and unable to care for him any longer.  Although he is getting along with the foster dogs in my home he is accustomed to be the only dog in the home.  I think another mild mannered dog would be a good pet-mate for him or a home where he is the only dog. SAMSON is 4 years old and weighs a plump 31 pounds, he needs to lose about 5 pounds!  His former home gave him lots of human food and he is use to being spoiled with it.  SAMSON is mostly poodle with some Maltese in him which makes his hair straight in some places but mostly he is curly. The hair on his face is straight and a curly body.  He also has a cute speckled nose. He is happy and bounces around on his walks, he loves to go for walks and is very familiar with the car, he jumps right in and watches all of his surroundings. If you would like to adopt SAMSON please submit an application on the website below or you can call me.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Annie is ready for adoption! She is a 3-year-old Mini Goldendoodle who weighs 18 pounds. Recently released from a breeder, Annie is learning what it means to be a dog in a loving home. Annie is a sweet little girl who just wants a couch to snuggle on and watch from afar. She is very timid and will take time to adjust to her new home. Once she knows she is safe, she will ask for your affection, but it will take time. She will sit on the couch with you, but not right next to you, at first. She will sleep in your bed, but jump off when you move. She has love to give, but it will be on her own time. Eventually, she will give kisses and even paw at you for some scratches. Annie will come into her own and having another confident dog in the home will help her learn; she loves playing with other dogs, especially outside. She does not walk on a leash, so she will need a fully fenced area to go outside (no invisible fences). Especially at first, she will be considered a flight risk. Annie requires a quiet home, as she is scared of quick movements and loud noises, so a home with no young children will suit her best. She doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body, she would just be very scared. Annie uses a crate when her foster family isn’t home, because she is still exploring and can get into things she shouldn’t, like toilet paper rolls! Otherwise, she has the run of the house. She is not completely housebroken, but will go out with the other dogs in the house, just not on her own. House training was going better before the snow came! She will use a pee pad overnight, though. Annie is spayed, up to date with core vaccines, microchipped, and tested neg. for heartworm.  She has also been professionally groomed!  Her adoption fee is $475Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 4, 2026, 12:36 pm
