She’s a gentle, kind, and easygoing shepherd who absolutely adores people of all ages. After a rough start in life, Penny has decided that humans are really her favorite – she much prefers the company of people over dogs. Penny isn’t reactive or aggressive toward other dogs and can walk nicely on leash around them. She’s just a bit selective about nose-to-nose greetings and would be happiest as the only dog in the home where she can soak up all the love and attention. She’s a mostly quiet girl who rarely barks, loves to nap, and has a very chill, relaxed vibe… but every now and then she gets a hilarious case of the zoomies! Because of that, a single-story home with carpeting (or lots of rugs) is a bonus for her comfort and safety. Penny truly is one of the sweetest, most easygoing shepherds we’ve met in a long time. Penny’s Perks: • Gentle, kind, and people-focused • Would prefer to be the only dog • Non-reactive on leash around other dogs • Rarely barks – quiet companion • Loves to sleep and relax • Occasional zoomies that will make you smile • Great in the car • Easy to walk on leash • Wonderful, loyal companion Penny is looking for a loving home where she can finally exhale, be cherished, and enjoy a soft bed, gentle walks, and her favorite thing in the world: her person.
