Genisis was brought into the shelter with several other dogs after being abandoned in a house. She is around 7 months old and weighs in at 54 pounds with room to grow. She is still very much a puppy and will need someone that understands the time and patience that goes into training a puppy. Knowledge of the German Shepherd breed is a must for her potential adopters. Genisis can be on the shy side with new people but does warm up quickly with tasty treats! Genisis does not seem to mind the company of other dogs and did well with the tester cat here at the shelter, although it is recommended that she meet any cats in the household with supervision until a relationship is established. Genisis must meet all family members that reside in the home. She has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm/Lyme tested (negative) and microchipped since her arrival at the shelter.
