Story
Meet Mollie Beth! Miss Mollie is finally ready for her forever home. Mollie is a beautiful German Shepherd mix born 07/01/2017, she was surrendered to us at no fault of her own alongside two other wonderful pups. Mollie is charismatic and social as can be, she loves making new human friends of all ages. She loves every male dog she meets, but is very selective of her female dog friends as always we require a meet and greet if you already have any. She also adores children, and would make a wonderful fuzzy big sister to a home with kids. Mollie is very smart, she knows her name, and many basic commands. She loves going for walks, and being brushed makes her very happy.  She does need a kitty free home.  When she came to us, Mollie had a mass on her belly we suspected to be mastitis. She underwent surgery and had this removed, and thankfully testing showed it was nothing to worry about. Unfortunately, she had complications healing from her initial surgery, which extended her recovery time by nearly two months. She endured daily treatments and cleaning of her surgery site, and was as patient as can be with her caretakers through the whole process. Mollie is truly a very special girl, and our one on one time during her recovery let us see exactly how wonderful she is.  Mollie is fully vetted, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $175, and we may require a home visit for her potential adopters.  Interested? Give us a call at 615-446-7387.  ##1761301##

Story
Meet Griffin! Hey, my name is Griffin! My friends call me Griff or Griffy. I am a German Shepherd mix, and I was born 06/01/2022. I had kind of a rough start, to be honest. I spent the start of my life fending for myself and living in the woods, until a nice guy from Animal Control got me and brought me to the shelter. I was really really sick, too. I was missing most of my fur, and my paws were swollen up like balloons. They took me to this place called the "vet", and I didn't like that very much, but they told my new family at the shelter what was going on with me. They said I had something called "demodex", which was what caused me to loose all my fur, and my feet were all swollen because my body was so infected. From then, we started my treatment plan, which I wasn't a big fan of, but I got lots and lots of treats! I had to get these special baths like twice a week for ages, and they gave me these little meatballs that had special treats inside of them to get rid of my infection. I don't really like the baths, but man did my skin feel better after a few. After I spent some time at the shelter, I went into foster with this pretty cool family for a while. They had other dogs for me to play with, and cats too! They were really nice and gave me lots of love and care, and they always told my friends at the shelter what a good boy I was. They had these smaller people in their house though, they called them "kids" and "young teenagers", whatever that means. They were kind of intimidating to me, I'd much rather just be around the full-grown people than the smaller ones. Honestly, I can be a little shy with most people, I'm still adjusting to the idea that people want to love me and take care of me. I think I'd be happiest in a home with just one or two people who I can really really love a lot, instead of having to split my attention to several people. There's only so much of me to go around, you know? If you really want to be my friend, I still go absolutely nuts for snacks. I can't help myself around a good treat! My skin is doing so much better, and my fur is pretty much all grown back, but I still prefer to eat my special food for sensitive skin. It's so yummy and keeps me so soft! I can definitely appreciate a good toy or two, and don't get me started on comfy beds to nap on. I think I'd prefer a family with at least one other doggy friends to play with, but I'd need to meet them before I went home witht them. Griffin is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $175.  Interested? Call 615-446-7387.  ##1886795##
