On 12/6, she made it safely out of Arkansas and traveled to Wisconsin, where she is now settling beautifully into her foster home. From Her Foster: Sweet Pea is settling in very nicely! She loves to play with the resident dogs and absolutely loves the snow. Sweets slept overnight in her crate and is definitely living up to her name. She is loving to everyone she meets and is one smart puppy. Her foster mom says she will make a wonderful addition to any family looking for a furry family member. This little girl is all heart and still learning the ropes, as all puppies are, but her warm, affectionate personality makes her a wonderful fit for many types of homes. Explore our adoptable animals and find your perfect match today! For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org Meet Ghost Ghost’s is looking for a new forever home. Adopted as a 3-month-old puppy in March, this sweet boy has grown into a happy, affectionate companion. Now 11 months old, he’s looking for a new home due to his previous owners not having enough time to work with him now that he's not the little puppy the originally adopted. With the right support and stability, Ghost has every opportunity to thrive. Ghost is fully potty trained, social, playful, and truly an all-around good dog. He gets along great with other dogs and is good with kids, though we recommend older children since his enthusiastic play may accidentally knock over little ones. He hasn’t been around cats, so his cat friendliness is unknown. Ghost is smart, eager to please, and very treat-motivated. He already knows several commands, including sit, stay, down/lay down, shake, come, go potty, and leave it. He’s the perfect match for someone who enjoys dog training and wants a young dog who can continue learning new tricks and skills. . Outside, he loves walks, hikes, yard time, and exploring. He does best with an active lifestyle that helps him burn off his puppy energy. Inside, he is cuddly and absolutely loves to snuggle up with his people. He likes to chew on bones and toys. Really, his only challenge is his separation anxiety when nobody is home. He does fine in his crate when his humans are home, but does not like being left for longer periods of time and tries to escape his crate. His current foster is working with him to improve his crate training. He would do best with someone who works from home, is retired, or has a flexible schedule so he doesn’t need to spend long hours alone. Ghost is leash trained and great on walks. He is not off-leash trained yet. He is currently being fostered with 5 other dogs and 2 cats and does well with everyone. He was great with the initial meeting and is nothing but friendly. He is not violent towards the cats, but pretty interested since hes never seen them before and they are working on it. He is a beautiful boy and is a very tall and lanky guy. One of his sibilings was genetic tested and that is the last photo. He is about 3/4 german shepherd. Ghost’s Information Age: 11 months Gender: Male (neutered) Weight: 70lbs Breed: German Shepherd Mix Spayed/Neutered: Yes Potty Trained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes, separation anxiety when home alone Leash Manners: Good Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Okay, learning to live with cats Good with Kids: Yes, very friendly Ghost has already shown so much courage and heart. He deserves a loving home where he can grow, learn, and finally feel secure. Could that home be yours?
