A committed home is required for him to make the trip, and we’re hopeful the right person is out there. Meet Tyson Tyson is an approximately 3-year-old German Shepherd mix who is ready for a fresh start. He was found as a stray and ended up in a kill shelter before being rescued. After completing his heartworm treatment earlier this month, Tyson is now healthy, happy, and ready to settle into a loving forever home. He has a friendly, affectionate personality and enjoys being around people. Tyson is good with kids and enjoys playing with other dogs. He is not cat friendly. Tyson has a playful, silly side—when outside, he loves to dig holes and sometimes barks at the ground, keeping everyone entertained. Tyson weighs about 80 pounds, is neutered, potty trained, and crate trained. He has medium energy and would thrive in a home that can give him regular playtime, mental stimulation, and consistent guidance.
