Hi, this is Oliver! He’s an 8 month old pup (born Jan 17). He’s mixed, mom was Belgian Malinois, dad -unknown, but possibly Pitbull. Oliver was gifted to our family at 8 weeks old, but he’s turned into a little ball of energy that we can’t keep up with. LOVES to play, esp. tug-o-war, but plays aggressively. I would not recommend for a family with children. He knows “sit” & “down”. He’s food motivated, so training with snacks should be easy. Hates getting wet & taking baths. He is an only dog, fully outside. Being an only dog has had him bored to the point where curiosity gets him in trouble. He does like to chew on any plastic, so be warned! He’s not been socialized to the fullest, so first meet, he does get on edge with some growling. He’s a good boy, but just a little misunderstood. We’ve been unable to love on him & train him the way he needs to be trained. Would do great with other dogs, he’ll listen to an alpha in a pack. But will take some time to get acquainted.

Gorgeous young active smart Belgian Malinois seeks home or foster! Modesto, CA This beautiful dog was found as a stray in Modesto, CA by my friend Renaye. She loves him but already has multiple dogs. She calls him "Max". Max gets along with big & small dogs and even cats! He is friendly to everyone. His training is a blank slate at the moment although he has learned "sit" and he is crate trained. This dog is NOT for everyone. He needs a job! Agility, nosework, hiking, running, Frisbee catching, fetch, bomb-detection, drug-sniffing, earthquake victim searching, therapy or support dog etc. He needs to be kept busy with both his mind and body. If you are looking for your ❤️ dog and are eager to devote significant time in training, playing, and entertaining your pup then Max may be the one for you! His coat is simply gorgeous with his dark face and muzzle and the warm brown gold on his body.
