Story
Meet Reaper, our 12-week-old Belgian Malinois puppy. We originally planned to keep him ourselves—his parents are our family dogs—but due to a change in our circumstances, we no longer have the time needed to properly raise and train a working-breed puppy.Reaper is energetic, intelligent, playful, and eager to learn. He has been raised around children and cats and is doing well with both so far. He is partially vaccinated, and we will continue keeping him up to date on his vaccinations until he finds the right home.Because Belgian Malinois are a high-drive working breed, Reaper will only be placed in an experienced, reliable home that understands the breed's training, exercise, and mental stimulation needs. Finding the right fit is our top priority. If you have experience with working breeds and believe you can provide Reaper with the active, committed home he deserves, we'd love to hear from you.

Story
M - 2 years old - Belgian Malinois - Nik is a big boy with a big personality and plenty of energy. This handsome guy is hyper, playful, and just a little stubborn, especially when it comes to his favorite toys. Once Nik gets ahold of a stuffed toy, convincing him that it's time to give it back can be quite the negotiation! He's got a serious case of "finders keepers." He also is a little bit hard to handle on the leash, so leash training will be important, as he is as strong as he is big! When meeting other dogs, Nik does best when introductions are slow and thoughtful. He can start out with a very stiff posture and needs a few minutes to acclimate before relaxing. For now, Nik would likely do best with a female dog or a less-dominant, easygoing male. His future family should be prepared to take introductions slowly and give him the time he needs to feel comfortable. Nik is an intelligent, energetic working breed who will thrive with structure, enrichment, training, and someone who appreciates a dog with a strong personality. ADOPT To adopt, come see us! We're open for walk-ins Tuesday - Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM with adoptions closing at 4:30 PM each day. Story
F - 2 years old - Belgian Malinois Mix - Moxie is a beautiful Belgian Malinois with a sensitive side and a lot of potential. This intelligent girl is looking for someone who understands that earning trust takes time and who is willing to help her build confidence at her own pace. When meeting new dogs, Moxie can be insecure and unsure. During supervised meet-and-greets, she has been able to walk calmly alongside another dog without barking or reacting, but she has also shown that she can become uncomfortable when dogs get too close. Because of this, Moxie is currently recommended to be the only dog in the home. Moxie would also benefit greatly from working with a professional trainer who can help her build confidence, learn appropriate coping skills, and continue developing her manners in new situations. A patient handler who enjoys working with an intelligent, driven breed will be an important part of helping Moxie thrive. With the right person, Moxie has the opportunity to become an incredible companion. She needs someone who will respect her boundaries, give her structure and consistency, and celebrate the small victories along the way. If you're experienced with the Belgian Malinois breed and looking for a dog who will challenge you, bond deeply with you, and grow alongside you, Moxie may be your girl. She's ready for someone willing to see the potential in her and help her become the confident dog she can be. ADOPT To adopt, come see us!
