Story
Captain is a sweet, affectionate, people-loving dog looking for a stable forever home. I am currently in the military and may be deploying soon. With my schedule getting increasingly busy, I cannot give him the consistent time and attention he deserves long-term. Captain is about 7 years old, healthy, and up to date on all shots. He has a medium energy level, does not bark, and loves affection. He is great with kids and enjoys walks and car rides. He does not tear up the house. Training: crate trained, housebroken, and knows sit, paw, and lay down. Dog friendly: he does well with smaller dogs and has lived with two smaller dogs for the past two years. With dogs his size, he needs a proper introduction. He is not aggressive, he just loves to play and can be overly enthusiastic at first. Captain comes with a crate, 6-inch memory foam bed, food container, bowls, toys, rear-seat cover, and a pet grooming vacuum.

I live up to my name and truly have a jolly spirit! On walks and sniffaris - I’m all about business - sniffing, exploring, and taking in the world around me. I don’t pull much on a leash, and I can keep up a great pace. I am super smart and young with a lot of training potential! If you’re looking for a sturdy, quirky explorer with shepherd smarts and so much love to give - I might be your girl! Weighs around 59 lbs - Good with other dogs! Very intelligent, loves training! Princess is a sweet, shy girl who loves to run and play. She has a good nose on her and loves sniffing around and exploring. She loves cats and is respectful of their space until they get used to her. She does get shy around bigger dogs but when she gets used to them she loves to play. Princess is very protective and is a great guard dog. She does well with kids and she doesn’t bite. She will tell on the other pets or people in the house if they’re doing something she thinks is against the rules or if another pet is in danger. She is super sweet and a big baby who loves treats and gets excited for new toys and her crate is her safe space and she occasionally lets the cats hang out in there with her. She needs someone who loves being outside and loves to cuddle and is patient with her shyness.

Rolo is a 6 month old German Shepherd pup who was in a local shelter and thought he found his forever home but unfortunately, he was returned when he developed a very enthusiastic hobby - chewing on Grandma's oxygen tubing. He is a typical puppy, playful, curious, and clearly believes that everything in the house in a chew toy until proven otherwise. Puppy logic. Rolo needs a family who understands that puppies chew, puppies explore and sometimes make questionable choices. With training, toys and supervision, this boy will grow into an amazing companion. If you're looking for a goofy, loving friend who will keep you laughing and on your toes, Rolo might be your guy. His adoption fee is $300.
