She knows sit, come, and paw. She is doing well with cats in her home. She is house and crate trained. She is having a blast with other dogs and needs to have a yard to play and run in. BARC welcomes GRETA to rescue. Greta is a 2-3 year old Malinois / Shepherd . She was uncared for and overbred by some irresponsible so and so and then abandoned. Greta lacks the usual Mal confidence due to her experience with humans but she retains some of the MALs best qualities. She is still athletic but can be calm and gentle. She also has a way of instantly bonding to a person which is one of the most endearing qualities of a Mal in my opinion. She is smart and listens. Her desire to please is obvious. She would be a perfect companion or therapy pet. She is good with other dogs but needs to be shown love. She would be best in a home with another passive pet but wouldn’t get to bond in a pack. Thor is a friendly and affectionate purebred German Shepherd. He’s 6yrs old but still has a good amount of energy. He will follow you around the house and lay at your feet or bedside. He’s protective and playful and enjoys going on walks. He can sleep out in the open or in a kennel if needed and he understands when to “get out” of a room or “go to your room” when it”s time for bed. He”s great with kids and has never bitten or attacked any person or animal. Definitely a good loyal dog.
