Benedict came to RHRN with three of his brothers- when they were only 9 weeks old! How they have been with us for almost the first year of their lives with 0 applications is baffling, but here we are. A GSDxMalinois mix; like many others, they arrived on this Earth as part of an "oopsie" litter, and were quickly pawned off by the human responsible for them. He and his brothers were surrendered to us covered in their own filth and crammed together in a crate many sizes too small; but they were SAFE, and that's what mattered! Initially in foster with some of our sports experienced fosters, we assessed them all and concluded that BennyBoo would likely grow into an adult who would enjoy some sports to occupy his mind- nosework or shed hunting most likely. The entire litter shares a suspicion of strangers, although very loving and velcro with their people (as is breed standard). His favorite toys are stuffies, and he has medium drives across the board. He is not a bitework candidate, and is not looking for a home with cats or young children. When it comes to dogs, he has met pretty much everything under the sun and had 0 issues: big, small, male, female, intact and non. He would thrive in a home with another social and confident dog to have as a companion/s. Due to his sensitive nature, young age, and the confidence building he still needs, he is only available to homes with experience with working breeds; he is not a suitable first time Mal. If you're an avid explorer, hiker, or hunter looking for your outdoorsey companion, this just might be your new best friend! *Application, Phone Interview, Meet & Greet, Home/Reference checks mandatory for all adoptions *Applicants MUST travel in to meet their approved dog/s *RHRN does not adopt East coast dogs to CA or TX

Letty spaghetti came to us with an ensemble of small children- who have since all been adopted! She was irresponsibly bred by her last owners before she was even a year old. She was a good mom but kept her children in line! And that is the energy she brings to our household, currently. Letty aka Lettuce is very self assured in where she stands in the pecking order (news flash: it’s towards the top!😂) As such, she does best with male dogs, or neutral females who won’t vie for the top spot. She is so so so so people social, offering a classic Malinois hug to anyone who will give her one- and even those that try to avoid her. 😅 We’re not sure exactly what type of sighthound she’s mixed with, but based on size we’re guessing it’s Whippet. Based on her frame and personality, it’s definitely sight-something! 😂 This girl is FAST, with a double suspension gait and a taste for small creatures, she would likely adore FastCAT; and we do have plans to introduce her when season opens up in the warmer months. She’s a slender built girl and appreciates a jacket on especially cold days. Letty is kind natured and loving, although her version of snuggles includes shivering furiously in your lap while she tries to lick the skin off your face. She has been a joy to have around, but we know the chaos of rescue with 30+ dogs isn’t her ideal forever home. So if you’re looking for a cool sport prospect or hiking buddy and have a single dog or smaller pack, come meet Lettuce Spaghettuce! Letty is available for adoption in Greenville SC. Out of area adopters must travel in to meet their dogs.
