I’m getting too old to give her the attention and care she requires! She’s a wonderful dog that I rescued 5 yrs ago from a shelter in Toccoa, Ga. Lately she has mobility problems and some incontinence issues. My vet gave her estrogen hormone pills and we changed her diet to include Omega 3 gels and Collagin . No more chicken, only beef/salmon kibble with beef wet food. She was spayed as a puppy, too early, which caused her never to develop nipples! I have complete history from her first vet and 2 more since. She’s always had shots, been wormed and her nails trimmed! She needs special care from a kind person..loves the outdoors but is stubborn with commands. Her owner(s) gave her up to a shelter where they didn’t keep the “cage” clean, so she couldn’t get out to pee..not properly house broken! I put pads in her sleeping area, she leaks somewhat

Obi is a super sweet boy who can be timid or unsure in new environments, but even when he’s nervous, his loving personality always shines through. His greatest desire is simply to hang out with you and be part of your world. Obi is potty trained and is learning basic manners like sitting. Obi is a fast learner and is extremely friendly with dogs and children, and he would likely do well in a home with another dog to keep him company. Obi does not do well in a crate, as he likely spent long periods in one before coming to us. He would do best with someone who works from home or is home most of the time. He thrives with time, patience, and plenty of attention. As a shepherd mix, Obi needs mental stimulation as well as exercise to stay happy. He loves chewing and can be happily occupied with a frozen marrow bone or a Kong full of peanut butter, which is his favorite! Obi is indifferent to people food and doesn’t beg— except for peanut butter, which he politely sits and waits for. He is a quiet observer; his foster family has never heard him bark, though he may occasionally whine if left alone for longer periods.
