Meet Marino!Marino is a stunning 6-year-old Belgian Malinois who thrives with structure, consistency, and an experienced handler. She would do best with someone who has shepherd experience or knowledge of the Belgian Malinois breed. Marino is strong on walks and responds well to consistent management and training.Marino enjoys an active lifestyle and would do best in a home with a set routine and a backyard—she is not suited for apartment living. She loves interactive games like fetch and tug-of-war, and needs outlets for both physical activity and mental stimulation. She’s highly food-motivated, learns quickly, and already knows some basic commands.While Marino has been introduced to other submissive dogs, she can be pushy and dominant, so a meet-and-greet is recommended if there is another dog in the home. She is likely best as the only dog in a household. Marino also has a high prey drive and is not recommended for homes with cats or livestock.Marino bonds quickly and deeply with her owner and enjoys affection and being close. She is also a fun, adventurous companion for someone interested in a “weekend warrior” dog—perfect for hiking, traveling, or even trying dog sports.
