Story
Camou came to rescue as a 4 month old puppy after being abandoned. He got along with his companion dogs but has since not done well with certain other male dogs. He is very submissive and shy with people and would do well with children as well. He walks on a leash and is friendly but reserved. He would make an excellent guard dog or companion pet for a sole owner. He does require a special diet of UR prescription dog food. With this diet his health is excellent. Because of his special need of this diet his adoption fee is for a special needs pet. He really needs a special person to bond to. He is also eligible for a grant for first responders and disabled veterans. He is completely vetted, microchipped, neutered and up to date on vaccinations. You can apply for Camou at brantleyanimalrescuecoalition.com.

Story
Laney and her puppies were transferred from Bryan County Animal Control back in January as a shelter environment is no place for a nursing mom and her puppies. Laney is a sweetheart that is 100% ready for her forever home. All her puppies have already found their forever homes, and we would love for Laney to get her home as well. She can be cat tested upon request. She is currently in a living foster home where she is getting some love and attention, but would definitely love more as she is in a large outside kennel with small yard. She needs a life of love and spoiling now that she is forever retired as a mama. Laney has not been the best around small children and would do better in a home where there are older kids or none at all. We're not sure if she was mistreated by a small child before coming to us, but she has shown a dislike for them since arriving. She needs patience and a firm, but loving owner that isn't afraid to train her. If you think gorgeous shepherd girl is a good fit for your home, please fill out the SGER adoption application for her. You really won't regret it.

Story
Pomme is such an amazing and sweet girl with hear full of love and appreciation for being saved. She plays amazingly well with other dogs and doesn't mind being around the cats at all. She is crate trained and has very few accidents with house training anymore as long as she is let out right out of the crate in the morning or when someone gets home. We're working on leash training and seeing how she does with car rides, but she's a smart girl and a quick learner. She can be a tiny bit shy with new people, but gets over it fairly quickly. She is a well-rounded dog that would make a great cuddle buddy on the couch or going on adventures. Both of her brother's have been adopted and she's just waiting for her own forever home now. Her brother's both looked like mini German Shepherds so they got adopted a lot faster. Their Story:On Monday/Tuesday 1/19/25, Ludowici PD was called to three skinny and young puppies in a local park. Once the officer arrived on scene, he saw the horrible condition they were in and watched them eating acorns and sticks to fill their empty bellies. He called to get the local animal control to come pick them up, but they refused so he loaded them in his truck, and contacted his boss for advice on what to do. Being a huge animal advocate the officer tried different rescues until he contacted us through his wife. He was given permission to bring them home. The puppies were not only starving and in horrible physical condition, they were covered and sticky with their own feces in urine to the point they needed baths asap at 2am. All three are thriving and even the littlest one Richas, that's super shy, is finally starting to get comfortable.

Story
Do you need the neediest of needy babies? Whines when they can’t see you? Wants to be carried around all the time or right next to you? Rooster is the answer! He is happiest when he’s with you and loves to cuddle. His foster family carries him around sometimes because he is at their feet. Not sure how this will work when he’s bigger, but right now, he’s just a baby that was abandoned and picked up by McIntosh County Animal Services and we pulled him. He should be fine with kids, but he is a puppy and they can be quite mouthy when playing or doing anything. Puppies teeth, chase, attack all the things, and are just rolls pollies. Rooster will be ready for adoption 12/19 after he has his second puppy vaccine. Adoption Fee: $215Promissory Deposit: $100
