Story
I welcomed Snoop into my home after an acquaintance grew tired of caring for him.. Snoop was left alone for long hours by himself. I was so happy to take this baby into my home. I provided a safe and loving environment for him. Snoop is an amazing dog but I feel that he requires more attention and activity than I am able to provide. He loves his toys, playing fetch, and snuggling (especially if it’s rainy out). He relates well to people and other dogs. He is a working dog, meaning he requires plenty of exercise and/or tasks. This is a very difficult decision to rehome him, but my work schedule and small apartment are why I am considering this. I just feel like he deserves more than I can provide for him. I would prefer someone with a yard and one that is knowledgeable about his breed. Snoop has been so wonderful to me, so I am selective about where he goes. Please, serious inquiries only. This dog has been through so much and deserves the best. Thanks for reading.

Story
Meet Jillian, an 8 year old Belgian Malnois mix who recently came to us from another shelter. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, and with Jillian you won't have to! This girl is super smart and knows a variety of commands! She knows sit, down, paw, drops her toys when asked, and waits when asked. THIS is why older dogs rock! Don't let this white face beauty spend her golden years in a shelter. She's the loyal companion

Story
I meet my best friend in Arizona, my family had an accidental litter when I was visiting and I just fell in love with him. I saw him and thought "thats my Scooby - doo!". Scout is 1 years old as of May 10th! What i'm looking for in a new home for my best bud, is a family who has the time for him. I want him to be able to be busy and be outside with all the smells and sounds. I would love if he found a family that likes the outdoors just as much as he does. He honestly needs a job more than the average person (all jokes people lol) But ultimately i'm looking for a family that has the space and time. I would describe Scout as rambunctious, curious, loyal, goofy and such a handsome boy. I currently have a Pitbull/King Corso mix and a Chihuahua that he gets along with great. Other dogs/cats..........I don't want to test it. He does well with other people and kids.

Hey there, I'm Leia! I'm a older Malinois looking for a relaxing home for my retirement years. My friends at Tails are unsure of my past, but it's possible I was hit by a car at some point prior to coming to the shelter. I have some old injuries that will require lifelong medication that is easily managed. Despite this, my foster family says I am extremely happy, sweet, snuggly, and friendly to every person and dog I meet! I've even been non-reactive to the cats I've met at the shelter, and I've been respectful to my foster family's little critters. I love giving people kisses and snuggling up next to you on the couch or in bed. I am very relaxed, rarely bark or make noise, and I'm potty trained! I'm staying with my foster family for now, so please email info@tailshumanesociety.org or call if you're interested in meeting me!

Story
My sibling and I were wandering along Bus 59 and CR 448 for several days. Several people tried to catch us and couldn't. Finally, we saw someone out walking one morning and decided we were ready to be rescued! We followed her all the way to her house so she could rescue us. She put us in a horse stall so we would be safe and then contacted SPOT for help. This PUPPY is currently located in Wharton County, Texas, but can be transported to Chicago via a licensed, reputable transport company. The transport fee is included in the adoption fee.
