Moxie was originally named Michelle. I adopted her in 2019 from the Anti-Cruelty Society in downtown Chicago, IL. She was one of many puppies that was up on the adoption list. I saw her beady eyes and saw how sad she looked. I saw how many people walked past her and no one batted an eye for her. I took her in, paid the fee and the background check. She became apart of the family after a major death. It was a hard hit, but my family and I did our best to train and familiarize her with others. She's great with kids. I made sure of that. She also resource guards. So mind her with toys and the such. She's hyper, but can be a complete sweetie. She has grey around her face. I didn't think my military service would get in the way of my care for her. Little did I know my family would face homelessness either. But she is available to a loving family. Please consider her. She's innocent in this world.

Meet Ranger, the intelligent and active Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and boundless energy. This handsome boy is a fast learner and has mastered essential commands like sit, down, wait, and shake. He's so clever that he tackled a level 3 puzzle on his first try! Ranger is a well-behaved and well-trained pup, making him a pleasure to have around the house. He's house trained, crate trained, and shows no signs of destructiveness indoors. However, he does experience some separation anxiety when his human leaves the house, which is why he's kept in his crate during errands. But don't worry, when he's playing in the backyard with his furry friend, he's perfectly content and doesn't exhibit any separation anxiety. Ranger is an active boy who loves going on walks, and he'll gladly accompany you on all your outdoor adventures. While Ranger is intelligent and affectionate, he can be barrier reactive, meaning he may react when he encounters certain barriers or boundaries. Patience and positive reinforcement training can help him overcome this behavior. This is very typical behavior for both breeds and he absolutely has to be adopted into a Mali/GSD knowledgeable family/ Ranger was in pretty rough shape when rescued and the vet initially thought he had an intestinal disease. Nothing was definitively diagnosed but the vet believes he has small intestinal issues. He is on a folate vitamin daily and will just need annual lab work and a high quality RAW FOOD diet. Ranger's charm and charisma shine through in the photos and videos provided, capturing his playful and loving nature. If you're looking for a smart, active, and affectionate companion, Ranger is the perfect match. Give him the love and care he deserves, and he'll reward you with loyalty and companionship like no other. Urgent home needed. Smokey is a 4 y/o German Shepherd/Lab, about 80 lbs. He is generally loving and playful, and also loves his relax time next to a favorite human. Unfortunately, he has become increasingly agitated with other dogs in the house and it has altered his behavior. He is a great guard dog, he has had training at Top Kennel, and I’m happy to contribute to additional training at same location to help him successfully acclimate to a new home. Vet has him on meds to assist with his behavior but since the stress continues it only curbs it a bit. He deserves a home that is relaxed, no young kids, and can give him the attention.

Archie is almost 9 years old and has been with us since he was 2 he is great with our other German Rory who is almost 3. I need to move and my financial circumstances are changing and can no longer keep them. They are great with kids and have been around newborns on up. They love to be with the family and are very much gum on shoe dogs.
