She’s the kind of dog who will light up your days and keep you on your toes. Jelli would love adventures and trips to the dog park where she can show off her amazing speed and playful spirit. At home, she’s all about her stuffed and squeaky toys—and maybe a few belly rubs, too! Highly food motivated and super smart, Jelli picks up on training quickly and just wants to make you proud. She can be a little timid around new people at first, but once she feels safe, you’ll have her whole heart (and a wagging nub tail) forever. 💛 Ready to meet this joyful, loyal girl?

Story
Ava is such an amazing dog. She was found with her sister and her mother (a Belgian Malinois and it was later determined with a DNA test that her father is Rottweiler as her test came back 50% Mal and 50% Rottweiler.) they were dumped in the desert in Southern California. Their mother was rescued from rurally based shelter that does not get a lot of foot traffic, but despite how sweet, adorable and healthy the girls were, they sat unnoticed, until a generous sponsor sent them to us. The girls were so scared when they first got here their tales were tucked between their legs for the first 2 days. You could tell everything was a first time experience for them, that I have been so grateful to be part of. Ava's sister Brielle was adopted a couple of months ago, but we still have this playful, derpy, sweet and intelligent girl. (It is also worth noting she is the size of a small pony for people looking or not looking for a large dog.) If you would like to meet Ava let us know, you will not regret it, I promise!

Story
We know very little about Leela except that she was picked up as a stray. She was given her 72 hour notice after just a week of being in the shelter, partially due to overcrowding but also bc she was scared and confused, and would bark at people as they approached her kennel. She was very stressed and fearful in the shelter, but now that she is out and here with us we can see that she is the most playful, energetic, intelligent and charming beauty. Although you can tell that she initially does not trust people, it does not take Leela long to lower her guard and then you see how affectionate, loving and eager to please she is. She would love to have a consistent and loving person as her own. If you think you are that person, please get in touch.
