Story
Meet O-Six, our 2 month old Australian Shepherd/Belgian Malinois Mix!O-Six is a very high energy smart girl. Herding dogs are bred to work. Therefore, when they don't have opportunity to herd cows or sheep, they have to be given other "jobs" so to speak to keep them both mentally and physically stimulated. These types of dogs easily get bored and are known to develop various behavioral issues once that happens. O-Six needs a home with an experienced dog owner that understands the breed and the dedication involved in keeping them happy. O-Six is not the best dog for a first time dog owner as the breed can be a bit challenging. Stop by and spend time with her to see if she is the right match for you. Our experienced staff is available to talk with you, answer your questions and provide advice on how to transition her to your home.O-Six is spayed, dewormed, microchipped and is up to date with vaccines. Her adoption fee is $500.00, plus $8.50 for the dog license if you are a resident of NYC. O-Six will also get one free exam with one of our participating veterinarians within 30 days of her adoption. If you'd like to meet her please visit, we're conveniently located in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn near the F train (Ft Hamilton Pkwy) and the B16 bus.O-Six can't wait to meet you! We're open daily for adoptions from 11am to 5:30pm.Sean Casey Animal Rescue153 E. 3 St.between Ft Hamilton Pkwy & Caton AveBrooklyn, NY 11218adoptions @nyanimalrescue.orgNYS Department of Agriculture and Markets Registration No. RR160

Story
Welcome ASIA These kids are gorgeous and smart, and typical to the breed ...baby gators with brains This breed is smarter then most of us. Trust me, it's true..I question my sanity daily on having several of these ( give me a litter of Pitty kids any day of the week) They know what your going to do before you know, they are tireless, recharge faster than your electric plug in car, playing ball, then training, then playing ball, then running, then nose work, then playing ball is a warm up for them. They require, your attention, or they will get it one way or the other they know NO personal boundaries and don't give a crap if your tired or cranky or whatever. They work to please, love with every ounce of their core but will equally bite you for attention ( love nips if you will) ASIA is smart and ready to learn...she LOVES water and jumped right in our pool...so who knows maybe a future dock diver...not too interested in the ball at the moment but can be taught...this breed is brilliant and she is no different...she is also very sweet and definitely will bond to you quickly...learning the crate and house training and will get it in n time. She is going to be stunnng when she grows into those ears LOL A few rules on this breed 1. Must have breed knowledge( or similar breed) 2. No Kids under age of 5 ( they are called mali-raptors for a reason) older kids must know DOG RESPECT 3. Must commit to consistent positive reinforcement training (This breed requires it) Potential adopters must show breed knowledge or equivalent Training starts now Our adoption fee in Texas is $250 and out of state is $500 (plus fuel charge) and that includes transport.

Story
**Name**: Mascha **Breed**: Belgian Malinois **Age**: Approximately 2 years old **Occupation**: Velcro Dog, Loyal Companion **Special Skills**: Sticking Close to Her Humans, Heartwarming Loyalty **Biography**: Mascha is a 2-year-old Belgian Malinois with a gentle and reserved personality. Though she is shy and timid at first, once she warms up to her humans, she becomes the ultimate "velcro dog," always wanting to be near. Mascha thrives on being close to her people, but like all Malinois, she also requires plenty of mental stimulation to keep her sharp and happy. Whether it's working on new commands, puzzles, or engaging activities, Mascha needs challenges to keep her mind engaged. Her tender spirit, loyalty, and need for mental engagement make her a unique and cherished companion, always eager to learn and love. $200 Local Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Adoption Fee (includes transport to your area) $50 fuel surcharge

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. DOLLY and her sister DeeDee was saved from a high kill shelter in Texas and arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue, in Sebec, Maine on 24th September.    We post in east coast states and Canada as we have many families adopt and are happy to make the worthwhile trip up to the rescue. We do not always have time to post all the pictures on each dogs individual page, but we do post a lot of photo's on the rescue Facebook page. Dolly is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives, heartworm and tick disease tested negative and is microchipped with 24PetWatch. S he have an estimated date of birth of September 2023 and on 22 September weighed  50  pounds.  We have no way of knowing the breed, it is up to individuals to look at the pictures and videos to make up their own mind. The shelter noted the following on 2 September about both girls who were taken to the play group individually: Not feeling quite confident on the leash yet, was carried to the yard. She wasn't feeling confident enough to join in with the others at this time. She was standoffish and could feel overwhelmed at times.   Kennel visit - 5 September Very nervous and scared didn't get off the bed when doing meet and greet. Laid on bed the whole time. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks.  She does need an active family who will ensure she gets all the exercise, both mentally and physically that she needs to live a happy fulfilling life. DOLLY is available for an adoption fee of $550 or if adopted with her sister DeeDee the adoption fee is $1,000 for both girls. Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue in SEBEC, Maine to meet and take home their new best friend. Our process takes 1-2 days as long as we are able to talk to references, so be prepared to be approved (hopefully) to adopt within a few days of submitting the adoption application.
