❤🐾**NYX**🐾❤ Calling all Belgian people!!! This is Nyx. We were notified by one of our rescues down south that this beautiful baby was on death row. We arranged for her to be tranported up north for her freedom ride and have her in a foster home. She has been fully vaccinated, hasbeen tested negative for heartworm and has a health certificate. Nyx is very sociable and gets along with other dogs but she is not good with cats. She has a strong prey drive and would do great in an active home that likes a dog to work with or go hiking with. Nyx is very young. Almost 1 year old, so she needs a home that is familiar with Belgian Malinois and understands them as well as her needs as a young Malinois. She will go home with a ton of toys which she loves. She would do best in a performance dog home. She would be great at Agility, Fast Cat, Barn Hunt etc. If you may be interested in meeting Nyx or would like more information please call her foster mom(who unfortunately has cats) 518-361-2646 or Save-A-Stray at 518-654-6220.

Story
Meet Zeppelin. He is an incredibly smart, athletic, and loyal Belgian Malinois / Russo-European Laika mix. I’ve raised him from a puppy and love him to pieces, but my late-night work schedule has changed, and keeping a high-drive working dog in a NYC apartment just isn't fair to him anymore. He has too much potential to spend his days waiting around, and I want him to have the free, active life he deserves. Zeppelin is a working dog through and through. He is hyper-intelligent, catches on to things instantly, and is completely devoted to his person. He has a big engine, an intense drive to learn, and is happiest when he has a job to do, whether that’s a puzzle toy, learning a new trick, or out on a long hike. He needs a lifestyle match. He will absolutely thrive in a suburban or rural setting with someone who understands high-energy herding or working breeds. A big fenced yard or land to run on is a must.

Story
My grandfather gave him to me after he got him from someone else. We’ve had him for about 3 years. In the beginning, everything was going well, but after we added another dog to the household, his behavior changed significantly. He began marking his territory throughout the house and seems to struggle with sharing space with the other dog. He requires a lot of attention, and unfortunately, between work and school, I’m not able to give him the time he needs. Financially, I’m also struggling to provide the level of care he deserves. Another concern is that he has become very skinny. He eats every day, and we’ve tried deworming him and other things to help, but we haven’t been able to figure out why he’s losing weight. This is a difficult decision, but I want what is best for him. My goal is to find him a home where he can receive the proper care, attention, and support he needs to thrive.

Story
Rosie is a sweet, loving dog and gets along very well with all people but does not care for dogs outside of her littermates. She is afraid of thunderstorms/fireworks and eats a human grade diet of either chicken/turkey with rice and blueberries, sweet potatoes or pumpkin and broccoli with some occasional sardines for her coat. She has a pretty sensitive tummy so this diet keeps her healthy and happy! She truly just wants someone to bond and cuddle with until she wants her alone time and then she will go find a comfy spot and snore away for a long time. She prefers to be in a yard vs walking on a leash but can walk on a leash. My fiance and I wish we could keep Rosie, but our move will include us being around other dogs including a dog she has had previous altercations with. She does not show aggression towards people, just a bit excitable and jumpy which can be controlled by ignoring the behavior and a firm "NO!". Really a great, loving dog that we wish could get along with pups better

Birthdate: 1/10/2021Breed: One of a kindWeight:   64 lbsJett is a courtesy post and is not located at or affiliated with Paws Crossed Animal Rescue Jett is 75% Belgium Malinois 25% Dutch Shepherd. 64 lbs. Neutered. 5-1/2 years old. Super intelligent and affectionate. He is very chill when it comes to being Malinois’. He is eager to learn new tasks. Loves walks. He loves his toys but his ball is everything. He does tend to attach himself to one person but he still shares time to spend with other family members. Loves attention. Skiddish when first meeting somebody for the first time but will warm up with treats.  He is up to date on all his vaccines. He does have a slight heart murmur but the vets say it’s faint and nothing of concern. Otherwise healthy dog. . Does take Prozac once daily as he does react to other dogs. He is best in an adult only home with no other dogs. Never really been around children. Knows many basic command and others like orbit, center, heel. If you are interested in learning more about Jett, please reach out to jenniferkorwatch@gmail.com for more information! The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.June 23, 2026, 11:52 am

Story
Nova is a stunning Belgian Malinois with a sweet, affectionate personality and so much potential. She loves children, enjoys being around other animals, and has done wonderfully with cats. Nova especially enjoys playing with puppies and calmer dogs that match her energy and help her feel comfortable.   Like many Malinois, Nova is incredibly intelligent and eager to learn. She thrives when given structure, guidance, and activities that challenge her mind. While she is friendly and social, she can be hesitant around very hyper or overwhelming dogs and may need time to warm up to them.   Nova is looking for a home that understands the Belgian Malinois breed and is committed to continuing her training and socialization. She is not a dog that will be happy sitting around all day—she needs an active family willing to provide mental stimulation, exercise, and ongoing training to help her become the best version of herself.   Loves children Cat-friendly Does well with puppies and calmer dogs Smart, eager to learn, and highly trainable Breed-experienced home preferred Will require continued training and structure   Nova is an amazing dog with a bright future ahead of her. With the right family, she will make an incredibly loyal, loving, and devoted companion.   ##2764919##
