Meet Zeus! Zeus is a young Pastor Belga (Belgian Shepherd) looking for a loving forever home. Due to an unexpected family situation, we unfortunately have to rehome him and want to find him a family who has the time and patience he deserves. Zeus is very playful, smart, sweet, and VERY energetic. He loves walks, playing, exploring, and attention. He is still young and can be a little all over the place, so he needs plenty of exercise, stimulation, training, and supervision. We want to be completely honest: we do not know how Zeus is with other animals. He has only been around our dogs briefly, and although he wants to play, his play can be pretty rough. We cannot guarantee he would be a good fit with other pets, so a proper introduction would be important. Because he is young and adjusting to change, he may chew on things when bored or stressed. He needs structure, patience, and appropriate toys/chews. He has been with our family since December 2025 and is believed to be under 1.

Contact the foster at, sarah.lillard.22@gmail.com- House trained, no accidents- Calm cuddle bug indoors and full of energy outdoors- Comfortable being left alone in an apartment while I’m at work, does not bark or damage anything. Still nervous about the crate but showing improvements.- Loves creeks and long walks and is a super athletic dog, would make an excellent adventure buddy- Not scared of loud noises- slept comfortably through loud thunderstorm and hasn’t reacted on walks to loud cars or construction- Has lots of jumpy puppy energy when meeting other people, but she’s only 1 year old and has plenty of time to work on that. Jumping is her way of saying hi but we’re working on not startling other people.-Has not been in a home with dogs, would recommend very slow introductions due her high energy reactions to other dogs on walks- Would not be compatible in a home with cats or small pets as she has a very high prey drive- She’s a very sweet, beautiful girl who makes an excellent companion

Meet Carol! Carol is a VERY special 2 year old Malinois mix who has all the brains of a Mal, WITHOUT the endless energy 🤪 Carol has very advanced obedience training. She'll work for you for food, a toy, or a ball of dirt (I'm not kidding!) She impresses every professional trainer she comes across with her tenacity for life and incredible work ethic. Carol's ideal home would be someone who's always been interested in training or dog sports (agility, dock diving, barn hunt, etc.) but never knew where to start. However, while she is an active breed, doing sports is not a requirement for her, she just loves to learn new things! She's also content with walks, tug in the yard, or a weekend hike! Carol has lived with multiple dogs of all sizes, and she's even hung out with sheep! She has a medium-level prey drive so cats may be tempting to chase but with management and time she could be a Cat Lady™️ for sure! Carol is one of those dogs you only come across once in a blue moon. She's smart, athletic, friendly, and so so sweet. To know her is to love her and she's ready for her forever home!

Story
Scooter is a very sweet boy, good with children and cats. He does not react to deer, golf carts, walkers, bikers, or small dogs when out walking, but does show reactivity with large dogs by barking and pulling. In the home, he is so lovely, calm, and friendly. He is a very laid back and relaxed dog. He is extremely responsive with treats on walks and his reactivity is easily managed with the use of food rewards. He still needs a bit of distance from larger dogs (20-30 feet) to be able to stay calm, but has done really well when this strategy is used. He has worked with a trainer and would benefit continuation to build social confidence. Scooter becomes very attached to his family. He loves with his whole heart! He has done fine with little dogs.
