Story
Scooter is a very sweet boy, good with children and cats. He does not react to deer, golf carts, walkers, bikers, or small dogs when out walking, but does show reactivity with large dogs by barking and pulling. In the home, he is so lovely, calm, and friendly. He is a very laid back and relaxed dog. He is extremely responsive with treats on walks and his reactivity is easily managed with the use of food rewards. He still needs a bit of distance from larger dogs (20-30 feet) to be able to stay calm, but has done really well when this strategy is used. He has worked with a trainer and would benefit continuation to build social confidence. Scooter becomes very attached to his family. He loves with his whole heart! He has done fine with little dogs. He has so much life left and we are so happy we stepped in when we did. He is a 14 year old neutered Belgian Malinois. He is up to date on all shots and vaccines.Came in with sister/ wife Risky. Can be adopted together, but are fine to be separated. Would make a great running buddy! Such an affectionate boy. Most happy to be outside and playing fetch/ chewing on bones while being with his people. Fully potty trained and crate trained. Toys and food should be separate from other dogs!

Can be adopted together, but are fine to be separated. Would be a great running buddy! Likes to be pet but likes being outside more. Most happy to be outside and playing fetch/ chewing on bones while being with her people. Fully potty and crate trained. Toys and food should be separate from other dogs!

Meet Mama Carol! This 2 year old Mama and her 6 puppies were sitting in the shelter so we stepped in and saved the whole family. All of her puppies have been adopted but this sweet girl is still looking for a family of her own! Carol would do best with an experienced dog owner since she is a Malinois mix. She needs a good amount of mental and physical stimulation so if you’re looking for an activity buddy, Carol is your girl. Carol is very treat motivated and is an extremely smart dog so she’s been doing great with training in her foster home. She is crate and house trained and her leash training gets better and better everyday. Carol has done great with dogs she has met, including her two foster siblings but her play style could be a bit rough for some dogs since she does like to herd. She would probably do best with no cats due to her prey drive. This energetic girl is happy playing fetch in the yard but also enjoys chewing on a good bone. While she can be wary with strangers at first, the best thing about her is how loving and affectionate she is! She can’t resist a good belly rub session and she will show her appreciation by licking you to death with kisses. Let’s find this girl the loving home she wants and deserves!

Story
Charlie is 8 years old, I got him from a breeder when he was a puppy. Due to human allergies, I unfortunately have to rehome him. But I would love for his new family to be experienced with German shepherds. He is smart and loving, loves to play with a squeaky Kong ball, and Enjoys playing catch with it outside. He is calm most of the day, until you start playing with him, then he will have all the energy in the world. He loves rawhide bones. He is very treat motivated. Potty trained and house trained. Basic commands trained (sit, stay, come, lay down, paw, stand, bed, leave it, drop it) Does not destroy items, except his toys. He loves giving you kisses, he’s very sweet and loving to people he is used to, as a German shepherd he is protective, so introduction to new people is necessary. He is not good with kids. So new owner has to be with no kids.
