Meet Max! Max came to the shelter on 02/28/2026 after his owner sadly passed away. It’s been a big change for him, but Max is doing his best and showing everyone what a good, loyal boy he is. Max is a very intelligent and active dog who thrives when he has something to do. If you throw a ball, Max will happily bring it back… and then sit there looking at you like, “That was great. Let’s do that again. Immediately.” Fetch is easily one of his favorite things in the world. He’s friendly, playful, and clearly enjoys spending time with people. Max is the type of dog who wants to be part of your life — whether that’s going for walks, playing in the yard, learning new tricks, or just hanging out nearby making sure you’re doing things correctly. Because he’s such a smart and energetic guy, he’ll do best with someone who enjoys keeping their dog mentally and physically engaged. In his previous home, Max was on anxiety medication, so his future family should be willing to continue working with their veterinarian to make sure he stays comfortable and supported. With the right routine and care, Max has all the potential to be an incredibly devoted companion. He’s a handsome, smart, and loving dog who just needs someone to help him start his next chapter. And if that chapter happens to include a lot of fetch, Max will consider that an excellent life decision. Ozzy came into my life in a very special way. He was gifted to me at 4 months old by a dear friend who was battling cancer. She wanted to make sure he went to a loving home where he would be safe, cared for, and truly loved and I promised her I would do that for him. Ozzy is now 1 year old and has grown into such a sweet, loyal, and loving dog. He has a big heart and an even bigger personality. He absolutely loves to play especially with his giant wooden blocks and enjoys chewing on bigger toys. He’s an active dog who needs space to run, play, and get his energy out. A home with a yard or someone who enjoys being outdoors would be perfect for him. Ozzy is also incredibly affectionate. He loves to cuddle, be close to you, and feels happiest when he’s part of a “pack.” While he can be on his own, he truly thrives when he has people around him. He listens well and is a good boy, but like many young German Shepherds, he would benefit from continued training and structure to help him.

If you’re looking for a dog who will love you with his whole heart (and probably sit directly on top of you while doing it), I might just be your guy. I’m a loving, clingy, and silly boy who just wants to be as close to my people as possible. I’m great with kids, other dogs, and even cats. When I meet smaller dogs or cats, I get excited and curious, so I like to give them a good sniff—but once my investigation is complete, I happily move along. Kids can get right up in my face and I’m totally cool with it. I’m a patient, gentle buddy who just enjoys being part of the family. I’m a well-mannered guy too! I’m house trained, crate trained, and I walk nicely on a leash. I also know some important commands like sit, lay down, and leave it. When it’s playtime, I love when you throw things for me, and when it’s relax time, you’ll probably find me chewing a toy while laying on my back or smushing into you on the couch. I love food… like, really love food. If it’s edible—or even used to have food in it—I will probably try to investigate it. So keeping snacks and food containers out of reach will help me stay out of trouble. I’m also a bit of an athlete and have been known to jump, so I’ll need a stand-alone home with a tall fenced yard where I can safely run and explore all the amazing smells outside. Speaking of smells—I love them! Every walk is like reading the daily news for me. I’ll also let you know if someone is outside or knocking at the door. I like to keep an eye on things and make sure my home and people are safe. At the end of the day, I’m just a big love bug who wants someone to lean on and share life with. Hi guys this is nala an saferi, I had nala since she was 8 weeks an safari was adopted from a shelter 2 years after when I realized nala need a play date because the area we lived there weren’t much dog owners, letting them go is a pain I haven’t felt since my grandma passed away 12 years ago. On God this hurts so bad . I pray who ever have them be very loving to them . They really don’t ask for much , nala absolutely act like an emotional support pet . She scene when I’m not happy a will follow me around just so I can keep petting her to make me feel better. Safari is extremely overprotective she will require an experienced pet owner. She been abusing on the streets before I got her from the shelter. She has her own personality but overall they are really loving. Please be good to them I beg you in the name of God please . There are not much humans left in the world that truly care for animals but I believe in who ever get them will be ❤️
