Story
We rescued this dog from a person in Cave Junction and believe he is about 3 years old, a Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix. He has been neutered, vaccinated and kennel trained. He has grown up with our five-year-old and has been around 3 other dogs(2 Pitbull mix and a Pomeranian). He seems to favor females and is extremely smart and trainable. He has a lot of potential if paired with the right owner or somebody experienced with this breed.

Story
High energy, well behaved. Shy at first but warms up and is very loyal. GREAT with kids, he was raised with kids all ages and is very patient and calm with them. He is not great with small animals like kittens and chickens. He has killed my chickens and got way too rough with a kitten and almost hurt it. He is very dominant and has hurt my older male dog as well, also dominant.... gets along with small dogs as well as females just fine. Otherwise he is well mannered and obeys general commands. Would be great if he had jobs to do.

Story
Meet Sabrina – A Quiet, Thoughtful Soul Looking for a Patient Home Sabrina has had a challenging start in life. She was displaced by a fire as a young pup and spent a couple of years in a home before coming to the Ranch. These experiences have shaped her into a sensitive, thoughtful dog who needs a calm, steady environment to feel safe. At first, Sabrina can be shy and cautious, taking her time to build trust with new people. Once that bond is formed, however, she becomes deeply loyal and affectionate. She thrives in calm, confident households where her humans understand that gentle encouragement and patience are key. Sabrina enjoys the company of other dogs, especially smaller, confident pups who help her feel secure, and she has shown she can coexist peacefully with cats. She’s happiest with quiet routines, gentle play, and slow introductions to new experiences. This intelligent girl already knows Sit and has excellent leash manners, making walks manageable—but she appreciates a calm pace and isn’t ready for high-energy environments or overly busy homes. She delights in toys and quiet play, and she enjoys snuggling with her humans once she feels safe. Sabrina is not a dog for an outgoing, fast-paced household. She needs someone patient, understanding, and committed to giving her the time she needs to feel secure. With the right slow, loving home, Sabrina will reward her family with gentle companionship, loyalty, and quiet affection. Ready to meet this thoughtful, sensitive girl? Call the Ranch today to see if Sabrina is the perfect fit for your calm and patient home. Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.  All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       April 29, 2026, 10:13 pm

Story
Meet Gabe--our three-legged PAW-digy! Gabe is a wonderdog--a gentle superstar who stole our hearts with his resilience and incredibly loving spirit. He came to us with a badly broken pelvis, probably the result of being hit by a car. After months of rest and recuperation, our vet determined that amputation was the best option for Gabe to live the pain-free life he deserves. With his surgery now behind him, Gabe is taking everything in his lovable three-legged stride. He's an all-around wonderful dog who will make an incredible companion for a very lucky adopter! Gabe is a snuggle bug who loves everyone he meets. The first thing he does when meeting a friend is to climb into their lap for snuggles. He soaks up affection like a sponge and his gentle temper and moderate energy are suitable for all ages and ability levels. If you love malinois but not the high energy, you need to meet Gabe.  Gabe has the classic malinois intelligence and personableness  without the frenetic energy and working drive.  He's actually a very chill, laid-back kind of guy who enjoys taking his sweet time and exploring the world with a human by his side. He's confident and adaptable, up for everything from neighborhood walks to trips to the dog park to full-on wilderness adventures. PLUS Gabe is extremely well-socialized with many different kinds of dogs! He has coexisted peacefully in a household with a wide range of dogs and gets along well with everyone from young puppies to cranky seniors. He accepts everyone and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Gabe would fit well into a multi-dog pack or thrive with regular play-dates with doggy friends. Gabe is crate-trained, house-trained with a doggy door, leash-trained, and has an excellent start on his basics. He loves to learn and please and will excel with advanced obedience training. Could this be the beginning of a beautiful friendship? Call the Ranch to meet our beloved tri-PAWd today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Story
Meet Cash - Your New Best Friend (and Possibly Personal Trainer) Hi there, I'm Cash - a one-year-old Belgian Malinois mix with a heart full of love, legs full of energy, and a nose for adventure (and snacks). I may have started life as a stray, but I'm ready to trade my wandering ways for belly rubs, squeaky toys, and a couch to call my own.  I'm the full package:  - Playful - I love wrestling and romping with my doggy pals - Active - Need a hiking buddy? Running pal? Backyard zoomie partner? I'm your guy.  - Affectionate - I give world-class cuddles. You've been warned.  - Friendly - I love people and know how to be gentle with children.  - Smart - I would thrive with someone who wants to keep my brain busy.  Also... did I mention I LOVE to swim? Got a pool, pond, or hose? Let's go.  I'm looking for a home that understands my energy, gives me room to run, and most importantly, gives me love. Bonus points if you've got a playful pup sister waiting for me!  Do I sound like your perfect boy? Call the Ranch to come meet me today!   Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Looking for the perfect match for our good boy After a few months of dedication, effort and meeting with a dog trainer to better understand his needs, it’s been decided we just can’t give our sweet Dusty the time and attention he requires in this season of our lives, and in light of recent life events, it doesn’t look like we’ll have the ability any time soon. Unknowingly, we have bitten off more than we can chew. It’s a pretty sad day in our house, but we are determined to get him what he deserves. Dusty is such a friendly, lovable dog and is seriously going to make the greatest companion for someone that has the means. I think anyone that’s met him would say the same. If you, or someone you know, is interested in an engagement-driven furry friend, please get ahold of us!
