What my friends at OHS say about me:I am very cute but have proven myself to be quite the exuberant pup!I am easily overstimulated, which means I can get mouthy and worked up. I will need positive outlets for my energy and a calm environment.I am a pretty eager gal as I get so stoked for walks that I tend to pull. I can't help it, walkies are so so so much fun! I could use some help learning proper leash manners. To prepare for your meet and greet, please take a moment to learn more about puppy ownership here! Story
Meet Sadie! 🐾 Sadie is a beautiful 6-month-old Belgian Malinois mix weighing about 30 pounds, and this sweet girl is ready to find her forever family! Sadie was saved from euthanasia at the Hesperia Animal Shelter in California, and we are so grateful she got the second chance she deserved. Now she’s ready for the best part of her journey—a loving home of her own. Sadie can be a little timid when she first meets someone or finds herself in a new situation, but give her a little time to get comfortable and her sweet, playful personality starts to shine. Once she warms up, there’s plenty of puppy energy waiting to come out! She loves to play, explore, and be part of the action. She’s affectionate and friendly, does well with other dogs, and is good with kids. And while Sadie may occasionally start off on the shy side, she definitely knows how to use her voice! She can be a talkative girl who isn’t afraid to let you know what’s on her mind. Sadie is also smart, curious, and energetic, with so much potential. As a Belgian Malinois mix, she’ll thrive with a family committed to continuing her training and providing plenty of exercise, enrichment, playtime, and opportunities to use both her body and her brain. At just six months old, she’s at a wonderful age to learn, build confidence, bond with her new family, and grow into an amazing companion. Sadie has not yet been tested with cats. Her adoption fee is $495 and includes her spay and microchip. She has a few remaining vaccinations that will need to be completed post-adoption. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful puppy with lots of personality who just needs a little time to show you her true self, Sadie might be your girl! Apply to meet her today! ❤️

Story
Hi, I’m Beatrice, a beautiful young Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix with a sweet soul and a little bit of shyness. I’m still learning that people can be kind and that I’m safe, so I’ll need a patient adopter who is willing to give me the time and space I need to decompress and build confidence.Because of my past, we suspect I may not have always been treated the way I deserved. I can be timid, especially when I’m unsure of something, but with patience, consistency and positive experiences, I’m hoping to learn to trust and let my personality shine. As a Malinois/German Shepherd mix, I’m going to need an active home prepared to provide plenty of daily exercise, training, mental stimulation and structure. I’m just a puppy, so I have lots to learn, and I’ll need someone committed to helping me grow into a confident, well-adjusted adult. If you’re looking for a special puppy and are willing to be patient while I find my confidence, I may be the girl for you. I have so much potential and am hoping someone will give me the chance to show them just how wonderful I can be.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment. Please follow the instructions on each pet profile.

Story
Hi, I’m Snickerdoodle, a beautiful young Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix looking for someone very special to call my own. I’m a sweet girl, but I’m quite shy—especially right now—and I need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time.We suspect I may have experienced some trauma or been mistreated in my past, so new people and new situations can feel overwhelming. I’ll need time to decompress, settle in and learn that I’m finally safe. My adopter will need to be patient, gentle and consistent, allowing me to build confidence at my own pace rather than expecting me to be a social butterfly right away.I’m also a Malinois/German Shepherd mix, which means I’m going to grow into an intelligent, energetic dog who will need plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, training and structure. I’ll need an adopter who is ready to put in the time and effort to help me become the best version of myself.I may need a little extra patience and understanding, but underneath my shyness is a young puppy who deserves the chance to feel safe, loved and cherished. I’m hoping my forever family will be willing to take that journey with me.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment. Please follow the instructions on each pet profile.
