Story
You know those annoying couples who do absolutely everything together and can't be more than a few feet from each other at any given moment? Well, that's Roxy and her bestie Debo! This gorgeous gal and her buddy came to our shelter after being picked up by animal control. Sadly, their owner chose to not reclaim them. Now these 6-yr-old best buddies sit at the shelter waiting for a home that will accept them both. Roxy and Debo have never known life without each other - they eat together, play together, sleep and snuggle next to each other - plus, they seem to be fully potty-trained and aren't destructive when left to their own devices. They're the perfect 2-for-1 pair! Roxy is somewhat of an attention hog though - the only way you can pet Debo is if you're petting her at the same time - but she truly just wants to be and feel loved. If you have it in your heart for two perfect best friends, consider giving second life to Roxy and Debo!

Story
Meet Cliff Cliff is a sweet and affectionate boy who loves nothing more than leaping into your lap for snuggles and love. He's playful and full of joy, especially when there's water involved - he enjoys splashing in the pool or running through the sprinkler on a sunny day! Cliff and his brother have the best time playing hide-and-seek behind the couch and chasing each other in happy circles. Cliff was born in a foster home to his mom Susie. Cliff and his siblings are 4.5 months old, born on June 24th. Cliff would make a wonderful companion for an active family who can match his playful spirit and give him plenty of love. If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving pup to fill your home with joy, Cliff is ready to make a splash into your heart! Note: The above bio on the dog reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. We provide adopters current information on our dogs; we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners. Since they are rescue dogs we guess breed of looks. Our adoption fees vary, according to species, size, age and other issues. Discounts apply in some cases. Our adoption fee covers dewormed, heartworm tested (if over 6 months), started on heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, vaccinated for bordetella, dhppv, rabies (if age appropriate) and microchipped as well as spay/neuter at our preapproved vets. All puppies not altered due to age will under a foster to adopt contract until completed and an additional deposit of $100 will be required- deposit will be refunded upon completion of surgery. We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who understand- these are rescue dogs, they will need time to decompress, routine and stability. We put our lives into saving these dogs- we expect their new families to be prepared for a lifetime commitment before applying- dogs are not recyclable. Story
Meet Hollie, a beautiful senior soul whose gentle heart and joyful spirit shine bright. Though life has given her the challenge of a nasal tumor, Hollie hasn’t let that dim her light one bit. She’s still a happy girl who greets every day with gratitude and a wagging tail. She adores people and treasures every moment of connection. She would do best as the only pet in the home, where she can soak up all the attention and affection she’s missed out on. What Hollie wants most, is not much at all. She dreams of a safe, loving place to call her own, where she can live out her golden days surrounded by kindness and comfort. She’s ready to spend her days being cherished, adored, and cared for by someone who sees the beauty in giving a senior dog the gentle life she so deserves. If you open your heart to her, she’ll fill it with more love than you could ever imagine. Adopt or foster Hollie today!Hollie has been featured on KPRC and her adoption fee is sponsored by GEXA!This dog would greatly benefit from a foster home where they can continue to thrive and blossom. If you’re interested in fostering, please submit a foster application here: https://www.houstonhumane.org/volunteer/become-a-foster
