Story
8 years old Coco is a gorgeous Belgian Malinois mix with a personality that's simply irresistible.
Coco is the epitome of sweetness and love, and her favorite thing in the whole wide world is being around people. She's what you'd call a "velcro dog," always eager to stick by your side and shower you with affection.
This gentle and friendly girl gets along splendidly with other dogs and cats, but she'd much prefer to have all your love and attention to herself. Therefore a home without any other dogs would be ideal for her, although she will definitely love a doggie friend who is not alpha.
She does these cute yawns and loves baby talk. She also loves, loves, loves her plush toys and plays with it with her foster siblings.
Coco is a pro when it comes to manners. She's house-trained, leash-trained, and socialized, making her the perfect companion for any adventure. She spends her time hanging out next to her foster mom during the day and sleeping next to her at night.
Coco knows exactly what she wants in life, and that is to be someone's cuddlebug and best friend. So, if you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, look no further. Coco the Sweet Girl is ready to charm her way into your heart and home.
Coco was rescued from Barc Houston pound, as her foster parents stepped up to save her life. She bonded with them instantly, proving how sociable she was.
Coco is about 55 lbs, fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped, She is kept on heartworm and flea preventative. Even though she is currently being fostered in Texas, she can travel to any state and even Canada to the right home.
Yards must be fully and adequately fenced, to be considered for our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences.
Please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com so you could be approved to meet this gorgeous pup via facetime or whatsapp.
Coco's adoption fee of $250 includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, and Harness. Out of state transport costs can range from $200- $300 depending on the destination.
Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them.
Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible. So Thank you for choosing to rescue, and not go to a breeder.
