Tank is a Belgian Malinois Dutch Shepherd mix that takes more of the Malinois traits. Tank has a bad back leg that happened due to an injury when he was a very small puppy. This doesn't really hinder his movement at all, he can run and climb steps just fine. He is a very affectionate dog and loves attention, but needs to have an experienced owner that knows the breeds and has done their research on what owning a working dog is like.

Meet Zorro! He's new to the rescue so we're still learning about him. - very food motivated! He loves to work and use his brain as most Mals do! He's very eager to please and is very smart - he has a very good nose and loves to find treats in piles of leaves and doesn't give up until he finds them! - he loves to play ball and is very good at bringing it back to you and dropping it on his own! - he's been good at meeting several new people in his current foster home and will go right up to new people. Will continue to introduce him to more and more people and keep you updated! - still learning how he is with other dogs - he is very quiet and clean in his crate. No accidents and he's even quiet when other dogs are walking around near his kennel - he's very sweet and loves to be by your side! Very in tune with his person! - he is a malinois and therefore he's quite mouthy at times! Nothing aggressive, but he will absolutely mouth at your hands to get your attention! - He has a little bit of a pushy personality and will do best with an experienced owner. Preferably one with Malinois experience or experience working with other power breeds. - the scars on his nose definitely tell a story of a not so great start to his life but he's looking to leave all of that behind and find his perfect forever home Adoption fees are $350 unless otherwise stated. Senior dog adoption fees are $200. 100% of adoption fees are put back into the rescue so that another lonely and neglected dog can be rescued. We are grateful for your interest. Upon approval, the adoption fee is non-refundable. The fee includes the following: de-worming; heartworm, lymes, ehrlichia and anaplasmosis testing; all vaccinations including rabies; flea and tick treatment, microchipping and spay/neuter. Dexter is a sweet fella who needs a chance with a smart owner. He loves his people fiercely, but he can be wary of strangers at first. At long as he gets to have a proper introduction without being bombarded, he is great! Dexter has learned so much while with us! He knows to sit, down, wait, out, play fetch, and walks nicely on a leash. Dexter loves other dogs and enjoys playing. He loves frisbees, tennis balls, and belly rubs. He will never pass up a good cuddle session! Dexter is a Belgian Malinois mix, meaning he does need physical exercise and mental stimulation to keep him satisfied. In a home, Dexter may feel he needs to protect his person and home from outsiders. He needs someone to guide him and work with him through that. He is the most loyal boy and wants to please! We would prefer anyone that is interested in Dexter to have experience with the Belgian Malinois breed or Shepherd experience, but this is not required. Dexter Miny would make an incredibly loyal and loving partner in life. Please don't make Dexter wait any longer for his forever home!
