Hello Mals House Rescue, I’m reaching out because we urgently need help finding placement for Lobo, a 3-year-old Belgian Malinois. We are not Lobo’s owners and never have been. His previous owner was planning to euthanize him, and we stepped in to prevent that from happening. We agreed to temporarily foster him while trying to find a safe placement. Lobo is neutered, healthy, and up to date on his vaccinations. His medical records are available. He currently lives with our two Chihuahuas and two Rottweilers and gets along very well with them. He has also done great with other dogs at the dog park. We already have four rescue dogs of our own and simply do not have the space or resources to keep Lobo permanently. What was supposed to be a temporary foster situation has continued because every shelter and rescue we have contacted has been full or unable to take him. We are running out of options and are hoping Mals House Rescue may be able to help with intake, foster placement, an ad

Athena is a 5 1/2 year old spayed female German shepherd. She is current on her rabies vaccine (March 2026). She is high energy, protective and can be a little protective over her food. Athena does not do well with other animals. She will do best if placed with Zeus, as they are a bonded pair. If being separated is necessary, she needs to be an only pet in an adult home or a family with older children. My life circumstances have drastically changed and Athena and Zeus need to be re-homed. I no longer have the finances or time to care for them as they deserve. I’ve tried asking family, friends, coworkers and having them ask around as well with no luck.

We took Astro in so that he was not surrendered back to the shelter. Unfortunately, we are unable to keep him. Looking for a good home for this sweet boy!

This is Stevie Nyx! She is a sweet but shy 4 year old GSD girl. She enjoys playing with other dogs but can be a little anxious sometimes mostly around people, it takes her some time to build up trust. She's super easy to walk she doesn't pull at all and is a very calm-mannered girl. She gets excited for walks, car rides, and food of course! She's spent most of her life in the shelter (I'm fostering) so I've been working on some house training with her since she just doesn't have the experience. She does completely fine when I'm home but when I'm gone she can get bored and get into some things she's not supposed to so we've been working on some crate training which is going well. I think she would do best in a home with a chill environment but perhaps another doggie or two for her to play with. She's just a big sweetheart with some anxiety who loves to smile and tilt that head, but she just needs some patience and empathy to help continue teaching her how to be the best girl!
