Story
Meet Sister – Your New Best Friend! Sister is already feeling like part of the family with her outgoing and affectionate personality! This sweet girl’s playful spirit and loving nature are sure to bring joy and warmth to any home. Whether she’s chasing a ball, exploring the neighborhood on a walk, or enjoying her favorite nap time, Sister knows how to make every moment special. She forms strong, loyal bonds with her people and is always eager to learn new things. Treat-motivated and quick to catch on, Sister already knows how to Sit and walk politely on a leash. With a little one-on-one time, she’s sure to pick up plenty more tricks and commands in no time! Sister thrives in social settings and has done wonderfully in playgroups with both male and female dogs. She has a special knack for keeping overly pushy young dogs in line without taking corrections too far — confident but fair! While she likes to take the lead during play, she’s never pushy herself, just ready for fun. She adores having doggy pals to chase and wrestle with, making her a fantastic fit for a multi-dog household. She does well with 4-foot fencing, making her a great fit for homes with standard fencing. If you’re ready to add a playful, loving companion to your life, call the Ranch today to meet Sister! Read Sister's Dog of the Week post here: https://rrdog.org/dw/meet-sister/ Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Story
Meet Timeless Teto — a one-of-a-kind shepherd with a whole lot of heart! If you're looking for a loyal, energetic, and goofy companion who thrives on play, Teto might just be your perfect match! This handsome guy is bursting with personality and looking for a dog-savvy home that understands how to respect his boundaries and meet him where he's at emotionally and physically. Teto is a toy connoisseur—he absolutely lives for toys! Squeaky, bouncy, chewy—you name it, he wants it. Providing him with a good variety of toys is a surefire way to keep this clever pup happy and mentally enriched. He also plays well with other dogs when introduced in the right environment. While he may prefer having his own space at home, he’s proven to be a polite and fun playmate with the right canine pals. That said, Teto isn’t the type of dog who enjoys crowded spaces or chaotic environments. Loud, bustling settings just aren't his thing. He’s much more comfortable and confident when he has room to breathe and time to adjust. Because of this, he may be happiest in a home where he can live primarily outdoors—especially if you’ve got a secure yard, open land, or a more rural property where he can stretch his legs, chase his toys, and enjoy life at his own pace. Teto is looking for a special person or family—someone experienced with a variety of dog personalities and confident in giving him the space, structure, and patience he needs to thrive. Once he bonds with you, he’s all in—and that bond will be deep, rewarding, and full of joy. Ready to meet your loyal shadow, fetch partner, and best friend? Story
Meet Sabrina – A Quiet, Thoughtful Soul Looking for a Patient Home Sabrina has had a challenging start in life. She was displaced by a fire as a young pup and spent a couple of years in a home before coming to the Ranch. These experiences have shaped her into a sensitive, thoughtful dog who needs a calm, steady environment to feel safe. At first, Sabrina can be shy and cautious, taking her time to build trust with new people. Once that bond is formed, however, she becomes deeply loyal and affectionate. She thrives in calm, confident households where her humans understand that gentle encouragement and patience are key. Sabrina enjoys the company of other dogs, especially smaller, confident pups who help her feel secure, and she has shown she can coexist peacefully with cats. She’s happiest with quiet routines, gentle play, and slow introductions to new experiences. This intelligent girl already knows Sit and has excellent leash manners, making walks manageable—but she appreciates a calm pace and isn’t ready for high-energy environments or overly busy homes. She delights in toys and quiet play, and she enjoys snuggling with her humans once she feels safe. Sabrina is not a dog for an outgoing, fast-paced household. She needs someone patient, understanding, and committed to giving her the time she needs to feel secure. With the right slow, loving home, Sabrina will reward her family with gentle companionship, loyalty, and quiet affection. Ready to meet this thoughtful, sensitive girl? Call the Ranch today to see if Sabrina is the perfect fit for your calm and patient home. Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.  Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination. All p uppies are also microchipped and registered with  911PetChip . We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds)  by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required),  and a portion of the cost will be refunded.    All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       December 12, 2025, 8:49 pm
