Story
Taboo is a gorgeous boy that is full of life, but due to the lack of human interaction when he was growing up, he is feral. He isn't aggressive any way at all and is quite cute when he sees people he's used to, but he doesn't like to be approached or touched by anyone. In the 6 months since he's been with the rescue, he's come a long way from running and hiding from everyone to now following Heather (rescue owner) and the regular volunteers around when in a group. It's going to take a really special person to be able to adopt and work with Taboo and they will need to be ready for months or longer of patience and taking things slow. He is safe at the rescue until that someone comes for him. In the meantime, he has 2 siblings still at the rescue his possible siblings are Breeze a shy gorgeous girl and his possible brother Buddie who is the most social of the three left with us at the rescue. He has a very shy sibling named Roman who is in foster. If you're interested in any of these babies that came from a disgusting hoarding case, please contact us. Story
My name is Opal - I am 6 months old and a quick learner ! I love running and treats. I am leashed trained and love kids! 5-20-26 update: Per the vets: Opel has Border Collie features specifically because of her speckled faces and legs. Just under 30 #, she can be timid one minute and full of kisses moments later. Very friendly dog, and will be a great house dog. Eats in her crate for meals. House/Crate trained - loves the doggie door, and A/C but not those gnats. Her one blue eye sparkles in the sunlight. Her favorite trick is to pretend she's just watching you plant flowers, then the next time you see her she has one of the plastic saucers I use for my potted plants - she is clever ! Like most puppies, she enjoys a good mud puddle or playing tug of war with cheap door rugs. She crawls when she gets fussed at - trying to act all innocent and lovey dovey - it works! Hard to tell at 6 months exactly my mix, but my mama is a smaller size German Shepard mix, my daddy, unknown ! I have several puppy sisters, plus big dogs to teach me to run and play, but so far there no cats where I live now. I've been around loose yard cats and didn't even look at them twice. Opal loves children - she would even swim with them in a pond or baby pool if I let me. Opal says I just love water, putting my feet in a big bowl, or my foster washing my face! Opal let kids she just met crawl in the crate with her at nap time. Opal is full of kisses and so gentle - she loves being with people. Opal has been spayed, very ready to go to her furever home to be a part of your furever family. She just needs a chance for a real furever home - she is ready and willing to learn the basics of your home!

Story
My name is Libby - I am a 5 months old - ready for my furever home! I need individual guidance on leash training - I will learn rather quickly - just need help to get started! I try and be careful around small toddlers, and would love my own family to be held and spoiled. I can be your tv companion or help you in my fenced in yard. I can run around with kids to wear them out, or be nosey to see who your teenager is hanging around! I love to get wet - a sprinkler or a lake sounds fun. Other puppies and dogs are just fine, but I've never seen a cat, so not sure if I like them. So adopt me - I'm a precious furbaby, all black with a sprinkle of white here and there. I'm still skittish, but once I know you I love to be petted and give kisses. Bring out some snacks and I am willing to learn! I keep a clean crate as long as I have access to go potty. Adopt me now and lets make memories together!

Story
My name is Willow. I was born just before Thanksgiving 2025 in rural South East Georgia. I am so ready for my furever home, but until that happens - maybe if you live near ARF of Wayne County, GA, you could foster me ? I already had my shots, and spay surgery. All I need is some love to show me how to walk on a leash - instead of trying to play jump rope! I want to play and be loved! Potty training - my foster is quite lovely, but wth 6 of us, no time to show me what I'm to do. I can learn fast given the chance. Willow would love to be adopted and make memories with you and her new furver family, I'm a bit tall like my mama - she is a german shepard. My black fur is similar to a lab or heeler, I have white on my chest, my fur is growing as are my legs!. Willow has been spayed, and microchipped and so ready to be adopted. I love running in the leaves, smelling new scents, plus jumping in water! Mostly just wish I would be furever loved on. Let's make memories together - adopt me Willow !
