Hi, I’m DukeI’m a 2-year-old guy with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. If you meet me, I might get a little too excited and jump up to say hello—but hey, can you blame me? I just really like being around humans.I’m a smart boy (if I do say so myself), especially when snacks are involved. Got treats? I’m all ears, ready to learn, and eager to show off my good manners. I pick things up quickly and love having a job to do—bonus points if it ends with something tasty.Walks are my absolute favorite. The world is full of amazing smells, and I like to take my time exploring every single one, though I do tend to pull strongly when I want to go somewhere, so some leash walking training will be important for an eager beaver like me! Whether it’s a quick stroll or a longer adventure, I’m happiest with my nose to the ground and my people by my side.Speaking of my people… I love hanging out with my favorite humans. Cuddles, attention, just being near you—I’m all in.Oh, and I’ve lived with a cat before, so I already know how to share my space with a feline friend. Pretty cool, right?I would do best in a home with older children or teens. While I’m a friendly and affectionate guy, I can become uncomfortable with close, unpredictable interactions from younger children. A home with more experienced, respectful kids will help me feel safe and set me up for success.If you’re looking for a friendly, fun, and food-loving companion who will keep you smiling and moving, I might just be your guy!
