Meet Roxie — part Husky sass, part Shepherd smarts, and 100% sweetheart-in-training Roxie is a 3-year-old female Husky/Shepherd mix with soulful eyes, a soft heart, and a love language that is treats and attention (mostly treats… but attention is a close second). She’s a gentle girl who can be a bit timid at first, but give her a little time and some snacks and she warms up faster than a Husky spotting snow.Roxie is affectionate, sweet, and happy to soak up love like she’s been saving it for years—because honestly, she probably has. She’s lived outside her whole life, so the idea of couches, cozy beds, and being part of the household is brand new and very exciting (and a little confusing). Her future human should be ready to help her learn the ropes of indoor life with patience, kindness, and maybe a washable rug or two. Due to living her life outdoors, apartments likely aren`t the best place for her unless you have direct access to the outdoors and are very active.Roxie could do well with a calm, respectful dog with the proper environmental management and would love a home that understands timid pups and celebrates small wins. Once I`m comfortable I may also get excited and jump out, so children in the home should be sturdy and respectful. As for cats… Roxie thinks they are way too fun and plays much too roughly, so a cat-free home is best unless your cat enjoys extreme sports.Roxie is looking for a kind, patient family who will give her the time and love she needs to blossom. If you’re armed with treats, gentle encouragement, and a sense of humor, Roxie is ready to be your loyal shadow and very best girl.
