Story
He’s a sweet dog somebody left him in the backyard. They moved out. I waited for them to come back and I went to go get him. He’s been with me at my apartment and yes, I did give him his shots but he needs a yard. He’s a sweet dog. He puts his leash in his mouth that’s how he show me he wants to go for a walk him. I think that is so sweet.

Story
Loki is a stunning Belgian Shepherd with a gentle heart and an adventurous spirit. He loves being outdoors, going on long walks, and will even grab his own leash and wait by the door when he’s ready to go. He’s active, playful, and thrives with an owner who enjoys staying on the move and can keep up with his energy. Loki is wonderful with other dogs and enjoys playing with kids. He knows basic commands like sit and no, listens well, and has a calm, loving nature. After a day of activity, he’s happiest cuddled up next to his owner in a peaceful, relaxing home. This decision comes from a place of love. Due to our increasingly busy schedules, we can no longer give Loki the time and attention he truly deserves. Our goal is to find him a good, loving home where he will be valued, active, and deeply cared for. Loki will make an incredibly loyal companion to the right family.

Story
Celeste was dumped at a local park and was verrrrry pregnant with nine puppies before TRAPRS Rescue took her in on the eve of a Central Texas ice storm. Now, her pups are grown and she's ready for her forever family! Despite her traumatic past, Celeste is a gentle soul who loves snuggles, treats, naps, and ear scritches. Her perfect family would be low-key, have a very comfy couch, and be ready to make up for all the cuddles and love she missed out on in her previous life when she was abandoned. Celeste has a few pending medical needs (she is heartworm positive and can't be spayed until her heartworms are gone), but these are both treatable and TRAPRS will cover ALL of these medical costs. More than anything in the world, sweet Celeste wants her own family who will be hers forever and shower her with the attention and kindness she is so worthy of. Please reach out to meet this perfect soul! **Available for foster or adoption in the greater Austin, Texas, area only**

Scoot over and make room! And when you need to get some work done or focus on chores, she'll happily entertain herself with her favorite chew toys and stuffies. Gorgeous Ginger would do great in a home with other dogs and/or older kids. Reach out if you'd like to meet her and fall under the spell of her soulful eyes. Story
Meet Sydney, a serene and affectionate Belgian Malinois Shepherd mix with a heart as gentle as her gaze. Sydney is the definition of calm—nothing seems to faze her. She’s incredibly dog and cat friendly, and her low to medium energy level makes her a wonderful match for a peaceful home. Sydney is being fostered in a loving home in San Antonio, TX, where she gets along beautifully with her German Shepherd foster sister. Sydney walks beautifully on a leash and makes an excellent walking buddy for those who enjoy quiet neighborhood strolls. However, her true happy place is outside—she absolutely thrives in a yard where she can explore, relax, and enjoy nature. A home with outdoor space is a must for this sweet girl. Potty trained and polite, Sydney is well-mannered around the house. She's a little shy when meeting new people or visiting unfamiliar places, so she’ll need a patient and loving family willing to give her time to settle in. Once she trusts you, she’ll show you her soft, affectionate side and soak up every bit of attention you're willing to give. Sydney is also a cozy cuddle buddy—she loves curling up next to you on the couch for some quiet bonding time. While she’s not a fan of car rides, Sydney is happy living the homebody life. She’s currently looking for a foster or adopter in Central Texas who can offer her the calm, consistent environment she deserves. If you're looking for a gentle, loyal companion, Sydney is ready to make your heart her home. To see more pictures and videos of Sydney copy and paste this link, you can apply directly for Sydney by clicking the Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-550 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. I am currently in a foster home and not at HSNBA, if you are interested in meeting me, please contact the nice folks at HSNBA so they can put you in contact with my foster family to set up a meet & greet. E-mail HSNBA at adoption@hsnba.org, call us at: (830) 629-5287 or stop by and speak with the folks at HSNBA at 3353 Morningside Dr. to get your information sent over to my foster home. My foster family is the best and can give you more information on me.I have tested heartworm positive. This means I have a parasite and need treatment. While my friends at HSNBA desperately want to help me, the shelter is too stressful an environment to undertake treatment and treatment itself is very expensive. The shelter has a few options to help with treatment, and if I steal your heart you should talk with them and your vet about what my treatment is like. For more information on heartworms, please visit the American Heartworm Society here https://www.heartwormsociety.org/pet-owner-resources/heartworm-basicsHSNBA lists all animals online from the moment of intake, and our listings are updated automatically every midnight. Some of these animals may not be available for adoption at this moment, but you can always call the shelter at 830-629-5287 for clarification on the adoption process or the animal's current status.
