EMERGENCY PLACEMENT DEADLINE 3PM 05/31/25Name: SultanAnimal ID: A865239Age: 1y 2mWeight: 50lbsAbout:Sultan is a young dog who came to the shelter as a stray back in March. During his time here he has stolen he hearts of staff and volunteers alike! In his time at PACC we have learned:•He loves a good pup cup from Dutch Bro’s•Is housebroken•Like’s car rides•Is great on leash•LOVES a good Zoomie session! While on a recent Daytrip, Sultan had an unfortunate incident when a stranger kneeled in front of him to greet him. This resulted in Sulat biting the person and leaving the victim with a moderate bite to the lip that required stiches. This has resulted in Sultan being placed on a deadline to find a home that can accommodate Sultans needs. Sultan needs an adopter or longer, 30+ day foster before his deadline at 3pm on Saturday 05/31/25. Adoption Process:Available for long term foster care 30+ days or adoption through PACC.Interested parties:Must visit PACC before the 3:00PM Saturday May 31st, 2025 deadline to meet with an adoption or foster counselor who will go over notes and then introduce you to ensure that it’s a good fit.Home Management Plan1) Bite History • moderate bite- Victim kneeled down in front of Sultan to greet him. 2) People Selective- Sultan has met some people he liked really well and others that he did not. • Your new dog doesn’t like all people and likes to pick their human friends. • Muzzle training will help with safe introductions. • Make sure to put your new dog in a separate space when new people visit. 3) Possible Handling Issues-Sultan may not like people crouch down or at face level with him • Go slow and at the dogs pace, does not like forced handling. • Your new pet may fear bite if handling is forced, give your new pet time to decompress. • Your new pet needs a dragline for at least 2 weeks, or until they are comfortable in their new home.

Story
REDUCED ADOPTION FEE $150.00MAGGIE is just a great dog! A WOW! type of pup. MAGGIE is very active, loves to run, romp, and can play rough and tumble. She appreciates her yard for playtime, and her doggie playmates. She is also very people focused, when she`s not playing, she wants to stay close to her people. After settling in, she would prefer to be on your lap or next to you. She tries to snuggle up at nighttime. She gets very excited when her people get back home and will jump up and down with excitement and bark a hearty welcome home. She does know a pet door, usually does business outside. She also monitors her space and yard and will bark to alert her people of anything unusual in her environment. MAGGIE will need a yard and an active doggie playmate(s). She`ll reward her doting people with amazing enthusiasm, affection and attention.

Story
Goose is two years old and such a sweet, silly boy. He’s great on a leash, loves playing fetch and basking in the sun, is crate trained and good left alone in the house. Goosey’s very trainable and food motivated - he rings a bell to go outside, goes potty in a specific area in the yard, and is learning to play hide and seek with our five year old. Goose would do well in a home with a female or a family with a less dominant male and calm children. We will send him to his new home with his crate, bed, and all of his beloved babies (he LOVES toys) and puzzles. He is such a good boy and we just want to find him the perfect forever home ❤️

Story
Meet Kaiya 🐾 A loyal, playful, and loving dog looking for her next adventure! Kaiya has been a beloved part of our family since she was just 6 weeks old. She’s now 4 ½ years old—a sweet, smart, and athletic. Due to recent changes in our family and the arrival of a new baby, we’ve made the difficult decision to find a new home for Kaiya—one where she can get the attention, exercise, and stimulation she deserves. What makes Kaiya special: Super smart and loves to play Sweet and loyal with her people Great with other dogs House-trained, spayed, and up to date on all vaccinations Great with kids, other dogs, and cats What she needs: A home where she’ll get daily exercise and playtime (fetch is her favorite) A calm, patient introduction to new people (she’s cautious at first but warms up with a little time) A family who understands dogs with some nervous energy and can help her thrive
