Mace is an 8-month-old German Shepherd/Terrier mix who weighs approximately 40–50 pounds. He is a smart, energetic young dog who is still learning and growing and would do best with an active owner who can continue his training and provide the exercise and attention he needs. Some things to know about Mace: Crate trained , Friendly and affectionate with people Young, intelligent, and eager to learn, Can do well with other dogs when introductions are done slowly and properly. Mace has not been around children, so I cannot say how he would do with kids. Because he is still a young dog, I want to find him a home that can give him the time, structure, and activity he deserves. This is not an easy decision, but due to changes in my circumstances, I can no longer provide the level of care and attention he needs as he continues to grow. Our Fur-baby is a German Shepherd male named champ. He is about one years old. He was my father‘s dog, and we are super fond of him because my father just passed away in September of this year, but we can no longer keep champ, due to landlord, permission issues. I am looking for a good home for him with someone who will give him the attention he needs, a big yard for him to run around. Champ knows how to do a few tricks he loves to play catch with the ball or any toy. He knows how to sit and give paw. He is very smart, & a fast learner. The only thing I have noticed is he gets along well with female dogs, but we have a small male dog and they do not get along well now that he is larger in size.I am looking for a loving family who will love him, take him for walks, he is very loyal & protective to his owners, he will show it by constantly licking you… Please give Champ a chance as at first if he does not know a person he will constantly bark & growl, does not bite…
