Story

Kazi is a handsome male Malinois mix estimated around 3 years of age. Kazi was a stray therefore we do not know his history, background, or his exact breed makeup.      Kazi is a typical young, energetic Mali with energy to spare but he has come a long way in learning his social manners. He mostly understands that humans don't like being jumped on and that teeth are for appropriate chew toys only. He can be a very well mannered and polite boy when he is remembering these things. Of course like most working breed dogs he has the occasional full moon fur missile experience where training goes out the window. Kazi enjoys going on hikes, meeting new people, and learning new things. He is a smart boy, quick learner, and eager to please. Kazi's only known vice is being a resource guarder - he has not yet learned that he doesn't need to guard his food and he must be fed separately of other pets and people. Kazi has limited experience with children and is not currently recommended for a home with kids due to his resource guarding.      Kazi has done great with other dogs and has learned to navigate play groups with ease. He can be a bit pushy with new dogs but not overly rude and he is respectful when told to back off. He is used to romping with dogs 35 lbs and up and when the other dogs don't want to play he hangs out with the humans. Kazi would likely do well in a home with other medium and large dogs but would also be fine as an only dog. Kazi has not been tested with small dogs or cats.     Kazi is a fun, energetic boy that is looking for an active home that'll give him the guidance and socialization a young Mal needs.
