Story
Sissy is sending her wish to Santa to find her furever family   This sweet girl was found as a stray at a well-known dumping area, skinny, alone, and afraid. After spending the week with her, I don't understand how anyone could abandon this sweetheart of a dog.   Sissy is a 1 year old, 70 lb, looks to be Anatolian Shepherd mix. She is so loving and still a little timid. She has deemed herself our night watchdog and so far has alerted and protected us from: her reflection in the window, her reflection in the fireplace, my reflection in the window (Sis is really concerned about this woman and giant dog that keep trying to break into our house!!!), the deer, the wreath hitting the door, and her reflection... several other times.    She is a clumsy puppy in some ways still and may have some growing left to do, or may just need to figure out how to coordinate these long legs with the rest of her body.    She is housebroken, quiet in her crate, microchipped, spayed, and UTD on vaccines and heartworm/flea prevention. Sissy has been fantastic with all 9 other dogs here (all sizes, breeds, ages, male l, and female), ignored the cat, and loves the humans. She will shadow you through the house and just wants all the pets and love she deserves.    Apply to #AdoptSissy at www.adoptastray.com or reply to your approval email to meet this darling girl. Story
Cole's in the house! And he's ready to be adopted! This cute, boy does well with others and is super laid back! He loves to have his back scratched! Cole is a bit shy and will need a loving and accepting family to coax him out of his shell. He and his siblings came from the streets as pups and he has had the hardest time becoming more social and comfortable with new people. But he HAS made significant strides!! Cole has some hip issues and has had one surgery to help his hip feel better. He has recovered and is feeling better and better :) Some basic information about Cole; he is a male, Shepherd/Husky mix, and is expected to be medium-sized (20-59lbs). He is waiting for you at the gate! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Story
Our story started under a house — yep, just a bunch of tiny bottle babies with no mama in sight. Eight of us! Our amazing foster mamas swooped in to save the day (and gave up all their sleep in the process 😅). Back then, our markings made us look like little Shepherd mixes, but as we grew and more of our personality came out, our mamas got intrigued. So, the DNA tests are in the mail, and we’ll soon find out what kind of adorable breeds we’re made of! Even as teeny-tiny pups, some of us were very opinionated — strong, independent, and determined to do things OUR way. (Think baby divas with bottles instead of tiaras.) But once we hit the gruel stage, it was game on. Now we’re healthy, spoiled, and absolutely thriving! We LOVE attention, snacks, and talking to our humans—especially if dinner’s taking too long. We’re professional explorers, champion wrestlers, and experts at the art of toy keep-away. Basically, we’re a hilarious, lovable bunch of goofballs who promise to fill your home with laughter, love, and just a touch of chaos. The DNA results are in!! 🧬 Turns out we’re a one-of-a-kind mix — 16 different breeds all rolled into one adorable package! Our biggest influences are German Shepherd, Chow Chow, and Dachshund (talk about unique!). Want to see the full breakdown? Check out the complete DNA results on our website! Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
