This dog was found on the 20000 block of Pleasant Road in the city of Rockville. The impound fee is $125 plus tax with proof of ownership. Owners reclaiming their dog must bring a leash and collar or purchase them from our Re-Tail Shoppe.

Meet Urza! This handsome boy came into TCHS with his friend, Tia, and they would love to go home together! He is used to the indoor/outdoor lifestyle on a farm but does well when spending the day inside. He grew up with another dog and would play with the neighbor dogs as well! He even lived with kids, cats, and rabbits and did well. He is not a big fan of birds, including chickens and turkeys. Slow and proper introductions are always recommended whenever introducing a new animal to the home. Urza is kennel trained and does well in there when kenneled overnight or while his people are away. He is housetrained and knows to ring bells hanging on the doorknob to let his people know he needs to go out. It may take him some time to get the hang of the routine in the new home. Urza listens well to verbal instructions if you get his attention with a whistle! He enjoyed playing with other dogs and playing tag or soccer with the kids. Come meet this sweet boy today! *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals. Meet Zeke! Zeke is a playful, happy, and very smart boy who is looking for a home that can keep his busy mind and high energy well exercised. He loves to run, play fetch, and have fun with his toys, so an active family who has plenty of time and patience to give him would be the perfect match. Zeke already knows sit, stay, leave it, high five, and fetch, and he is eager to learn more! He is still working on his leash manners and tends to pull, so his new family should be prepared to continue working with him on polite walking skills. Zeke has not been around children, so older children or dog-savvy children who understand how to interact with a high-energy dog would be the best fit. He has also not been around other dogs or cats. Any introductions to new animals should be done slowly and properly. Ask a TCHS staff member for tips and guidance! The good news is that Zeke has lots of great home skills. He is housetrained and crate trained, and he is used to sleeping in his crate at night. When he needs to go potty, he will even touch you with his nose to let you know! Zeke even enjoys bath time, which is always a bonus! This sweet boy is looking for someone who will give him the patience, structure, exercise, and time he needs to thrive. With the right person or family, Zeke has the potential to be an amazing companion and a wonderful best friend.
