Story
Meet Ranger! He is a big boy looking for a big place to live. Ranger is accustomed to the rural lifestyle and would love to keep it that way! He spent some time living in the city but didn't adjust well due to all the sights and smells being a little overwhelming. He is used to having the space to run around outside. Ranger would do best with an experienced dog owner who is willing to work on his ever-expanding training. He already knows "fetch," "sit," "stay," and "lay down." But he's excited to continue his training as it provides him with enrichment and apt mental stimulation! Ranger can be nervous around new people and animals, so slow introductions are recommended. Ranger has met other dogs and did well with some and not with others. He has met cats and did well but can get a little too excited around them. He has never met kids. With every new animal - especially Ranger - slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are highly recommended. Ask a TCHS staff member for more information on how to ease the transition! *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals. Story
THIS ANIMAL HAS TWO ADOPTION HOLDS* Meet Oliver! He is a young man looking for a new start! Oliver is a very energetic and playful boy who would love to continue his active lifestyle. He can get overly excited pretty easily, so keeping him busy and entertained throughout the day can help keep his energy at a moderate level. Oliver could use more training as this will help keep him entertained and enriched properly while growing big and strong! He is crate-trained and will let you know when he needs to potty by whining. He loves chasing balls, playing with Kongs, and solving puzzles. As long as he stays busy, Oliver will be a good boy! Oliver has not lived with other animals in the past but did very well when meeting up with other dogs for play dates. He has not met cats. He has met children and did all right with them. Oliver doesn't quite understand how to behave around children, so additional training and proper introductions are highly recommended for Oliver. He gets a little too excited and has trouble containing himself! Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children is always recommended when bringing home a new furry friend. Ask a TCHS staff member for tips on how to ease the transition. *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. Story
We got Koda when he was just a pup. He will turning 5 years old on September 26th this year. In a new home we would like him to have space to RUN. He needs space but also discipline. 95 % of the time he is a sweet boy and just wants love and snuggles, but he has shown traits of anxiety. He currently needs to be in a strong kennel to contain him when we are not home. We have had a couple incidents with strangers where he will nip them in the back of the leg then run off immediately. He currently is homed with 2 school aged kids and our elderly lab and has not had issues with our kids, our family and friends that come around often. He does like rough play with our other dog. We are currently expecting a new baby and do not want these newer incidents to occur with a newborn in house.

Story
Location: St. Paul, MN She is such an eager to please, playful girl searching for her furever family! She follows me around the house and even though she’s smaller than her sister, she is tougher and more adventurous. She's doing great with potty training, using pee pads or going outdoors. She sleeps in her puppy pen at night quietly with her sister after a couple minutes of whining. Hasn’t pooped in the house in a week! Vaccinated, spayed, microchipped. She's ready to go home today! Originated from: Shelter in Georgia. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs over 9 months), FIV/FeLV test (cats - one in the litter), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
This here is Rosie, she absolutely loves people but does not love other animals. We had gotten Rosie 4 years ago at a shelter in St. Cloud. Rosie is 6 going to be 7 on 10-16. We are looking for someone who can accommodate her for we no longer can. Our hearts are broken but it’s what’s best for both our gals. Rosie loves going outside, car rides, and loves attention. She does have incontinence, she’s on a pill and it works perfect. She does have a kennel, harness, collar, bed etc.
