Ask a TCHS staff for tips on how to ease the transition. Jen would love to have durable toys to chew on and keep her entertained. Patient and consistent training using treats is a good way to work on obedience cues. Ask a TCHS staff about training and suggestions for the perfect toy for your new friend from the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe. *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling 320-252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals. THIS ANIMAL HAS AN ADOPTION HOLD* Meet Kova! She is a very sweet girl looking for a fresh start! Kova loves to chase after tennis balls outside along with her canine friends. She does prefer to be out on a nicer day though as she is a little nervous during storms or bad weather. Kova is very outgoing and loves meeting new people and animals. She will never stop wagging her tail! Kova has met and lived with other dogs, cats, and children. She does amazing with everyone! She can get a little too excited around cats so very slow and patient introductions are necessary with them. Even though Kova does well with everyone, slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended when bringing home a new furry companion. Ask a TCHS staff member for tips on how to ease the transition! Kova knows a few commands including "sit," "lay down," "leave it," and "fetch." She is housetrained and will bark or whine at the door when she needs to go outside. She is accustomed to using a crate at night and when her humans are not around. Kova does very well in a crate and sometimes even prefers to lounge in there! This here is Rosie, she absolutely loves people but does not love other female dog. We had gotten Rosie 4 years ago at a shelter in St. Cloud. Rosie is 6 years old, 10-16-2019. We are looking for someone who can accommodate her for we no longer can. Our hearts are broken but it’s what’s best for both our gals. Rosie loves going outside, car rides, and loves attention. She does have a kennel, harness, collar, bed etc.
