Story
Meet Skippy! Skippy is a very sweet, loving boy with a heart of gold! He absolutely adores his favorite human and has a serious love for toys. While he may be nervous when meeting new people or experiencing unfamiliar things, once Skippy decides you’re his person, he’ll happily be right by your side as your adorable little shadow! Skippy has lived with other large dogs and done well. He was described as a happy and friendly pup who was used to spending most of his time outside. His new human should be patient if they try to transition him to a mostly indoor lifestyle. He has not had to be housetrained. *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals. Story
We got Koda when he was just a pup. He will turning 5 years old on September 26th this year. In a new home we would like him to have space to RUN. He needs space but also discipline. 95 % of the time he is a sweet boy and just wants love and snuggles, but he has shown traits of anxiety. He currently needs to be in a strong kennel to contain him when we are not home. We have had a couple incidents with strangers where he will nip them in the back of the leg then run off immediately. He currently is homed with 2 school aged kids and our elderly lab and has not had issues with our kids, our family and friends that come around often. He does like rough play with our other dog. We are currently expecting a new baby and do not want these newer incidents to occur with a newborn in house.

Story
Location: Baldwin, MN Meet Carlotta—or Lottie to her friends! This beautiful Shepherd mix is finally ready for a life that's all about her. After raising multiple litters of puppies, Lottie has more than earned her happily-ever-after. She's now spayed and looking for a family who will shower her with the love and care she's always deserved. Lottie absolutely adores people and is happiest when she's by your side, soaking up affection and attention. She's friendly with other dogs and enjoys having canine companions, but true to her Shepherd roots, she can be a little bossy and likes to herd her dog friends from time to time. She'll do best with dogs that don't mind her taking charge every now and then. One of Lottie's most charming features is her adorable ear—one stands tall while the other flops off to the side, giving her the sweetest, slightly goofy expression that everyone falls in love with. She's a joy to walk on a leash, knows some basic commands, and is a wonderful companion for neighborhood strolls or relaxing at home. She's smart, eager to please, and loves spending time with her people. Lottie does have a high prey drive, so any home with cats would need to have a very dog-savvy, confident cat, and slow, thoughtful introductions would be essential. She may also be happiest in a home without small animals. After spending years taking care of everyone else, it's finally Lottie's turn to be loved. She's ready for a family who will cherish her, appreciate her loyal heart, laugh at her adorable sideways ear, and give her the forever home she's been waiting for. Could Lottie be the missing piece of your family? *Originated from: South Dakota Reservation. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs over 9 months), FIV/FeLV test (cats - one in the litter), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
This here is Rosie, she absolutely loves people but does not love other animals. We had gotten Rosie 4 years ago at a shelter in St. Cloud. Rosie is 6 going to be 7 on 10-16. We are looking for someone who can accommodate her for we no longer can. Our hearts are broken but it’s what’s best for both our gals. Rosie loves going outside, car rides, and loves attention. She does have a kennel, harness, collar, bed etc.
