Story
Dax is a working line German shepherd. We got him at 10 weeks old and put an immense amount of work/training into him. He’s now 7 years old. He’s a sweet boy, but requires more work from us than we can give him at this time. We have 3 young children. He does so well with our kids and is loyal. He can be very vocal when he doesn’t receive our immediate attention. Dax enjoys fetch, walks, car rides, meeting new people, and hide-and-go seek. He also really loves training with treats. He knows basic commands, is kenneled when we are gone, and doesn’t mind loud noises (such as fireworks and thunderstorms). He would do really well with a companion who can give him the time and attention he seeks. We haven’t had him around other dogs much, and seems to be a little territorial of his space. I’m not sure if this is something that could be worked through, or just his temperament. Is Dax the companion dog you’re looking for? He can’t wait to meet you!

Story
Koda was purchased from a breeder in SW WA a little over 6 years ago. He was being retired as the breeding sire for the breeders females. Upon purchase we had him neutered as part of the agreement with the breeder. He is well trained and has a very loving soul. He rarely barks, and only if there is a perceived valid threat. He's extremely gentle around other animals and all children. He loves his walks, the dog park and to play fetch. He is starting to lose his sight and hearing, but has no issues with his hips.I will only allow him to go to a gentle and very kind person or family. He is an indoor dog, but loves to be outside for part of the day. Understand that I will be very selective on who takes him. If you yell, kick, or abuse dogs in any way don't waste my time. I will also give all of his items, i.e. Dog bed, leashes, collar, 30' training leash, reflective jacket, balls and thrower.
