Story
Cairo - ID# 20029 - Kennel #600 - Arrived June 16th (Stray) - Bengal Mix - Grey Tabby and Black - Male - 1 Year Old - 11.3125 lbs - Estimated Adult Weight 12-14 lbs - Neutered - Up to Date on Vaccines - FIV/FeLV Negative Cairo is a one-year-old grey tabby and black Bengal mix with some of the most extraordinary markings you will ever see on a cat - bold, dramatic black striping over a silver grey base, with spotted rosette patterning on his body that gives him the look of a wild cat in miniature. He arrived at Cobb Animal Services as a stray on June 16th, and this breathtaking boy is now waiting for someone to recognize just how rare and remarkable he truly is. Bengal mixes carry the striking beauty of their wild ancestry in every marking and every line of their body, and Cairo is a stunning example of exactly that. At just over 11 lbs and one year old he is right at the beginning of his prime - fully grown into that extraordinary coat and those intense green eyes that give him an air of quiet, commanding presence that is impossible to look away from. Because Cairo came in as a stray his full story is unknown - but what is known is that he is neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, and ready in every way for a home that will appreciate everything that makes him so special. The cat who reveals himself once he feels safe and settled is going to be something truly extraordinary. Cairo is a one-of-a-kind boy with a one-of-a-kind coat and a name that suits him perfectly. He is waiting in Kennel #600 with those striking green eyes and those magnificent markings, ready for the person who will see him for the rare and beautiful cat he is. Come meet him - there is simply no other cat quite like him. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers.
