Story
Meet Apollo 🐾 — A Gentle Soul Looking for a Calm Home Apollo is a stunning 6-year-old Bengal with a quiet, sensitive nature. This sweet boy may be a little timid at first, but once he feels safe, his loving personality truly shines. Apollo thrives in a low-key environment and would do best in a home without small children. He can be a bit anxious, especially with new people or too much activity, and may retreat to a cozy hiding spot (like under a blanket) when he feels overwhelmed. But with patience and reassurance, he does wonderfully and enjoys being held and comforted. One of Apollo’s favorite things? Cuddling. 💛 He’ll often come to you when he’s ready for affection and happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give. Apollo does have occasional litter box sensitivities. He can go long periods without any issues, but if something stresses him—like sharing a litter box with another cat—he may express his displeasure by going outside the box. Because of this, he would do best in a home that can provide consistency, a clean environment, and ideally a space where he feels secure and respected. ✨ Apollo at a glance: • 6-year-old Bengal • Sweet, gentle, and timid • Loves cuddles and quiet companionship • Does best in a calm, low-traffic home • Prefers no small children • May need support with litter box consistency Apollo is looking for a patient, understanding adopter who will give him the peaceful home he deserves. In return, he’ll be your loyal, snuggly companion. 💻 Apply to adopt on our website FORrescue.net #FORrescue #FriendsOfRescue #AdoptApollo #BengalCat #RescueCat #AdoptDontShop #CatsofAlabama #HuntsvilleAL #SeniorCatLove #ShyCat

Story
Georgie needs a forever home! 🐱 🐾 We are currently "fostering" Georgie for a friend who had to relocate to another state and couldn't bring him with her. Georgie is around 6 years old and has been an amazing cat. Once he trusts you, his personality is so sweet and loving. We own two dogs and after the initial introduction he's taken to them well! Georgie is a Bengal through and through and although completely adorable, he 100% needs to go to an experienced adopter who doesn't only want a cat, but wants a BENGAL (& the personality/traits that come with that). He loves having cat zoomies, playing with his toys, jumping onto high surfaces, and lots of exploring and climbing onto vertical spaces. We'd love for him to go somewhere where he will thrive and find his forever person who has the time to care for him. Georgie will come with his 65in cat tree, litterbox (with some pads & pellets to start), his carrier, toys, cat scratcher, food bowls and some food to get you started!

Story
I have 2 beautiful Bengal cats that are sisters that should stay together - Elliecat and Junabell. I adopted them from my sister who was ill and unable to continue caring for them. They are both 11 years old (born in September 2014). I think a family with older children or with ample time to play would be most beneficial. They are very playful cats and love attention. I am happy to pass along their carriers and any other items you may want (cat boxes, toys, etc....). Elliecat is nearsighted, loves to play, and be pet on occasion once she warms up to you. Junabell is very affectionate and loves to be pet when she lays down or sit's next to you. I am retired and want to travel, and don't want to board my cats so I'm looking for a loving family who loves to play. These cats follow just like a dog wherever you are.

I have 2 beautiful Bengal sister cats that would be best it they stayed together. Their names are Junabell and Elliecat. I adopted them from my sister who was ill and unable to to care for them. I’m Looking for a family with older children (9-18) with ample time to play would be most beneficial because they like company. These sister cats are happiest when active and they are not lap cats. They like to interact with electronic toys, they are very playful and agile (do flips) way beyond their age. Junabell loves attention, can be affectionate and loves to be pet laying down a lot, but not held. Elliecat is nearsighted, loves to play, and be pet on occasion once she warms up to you. These cats like to be in the same room and follow you (just like a dog) wherever you are at home. I am retired and want to travel, and I don’t want to board them in some confined space. I'm looking for a loving family who enjoys their playful interactive nature. They are both 11 years

Story
Meet Bruce and Benny. Bruce and Benny are a dynamic duo of Bengal cats that are the best of friends. Because they love each other so much, they must be adopted together. We think they would do well in a home where it is just the two of them though they may get along with one other cat. Both boys do not get along with dogs and they would do best with children 10+ years old. They both love catnip toys and will even roll around on the floor for sprinkled dry catnip. They are affectionate with people and can be lap cats at times. They love to be pet all over. Benny and Bruce love cat trees and being able to climb all over. Bruce is blind, so adopters will need to make sure they aren`t moving furniture around often, consistency will help him thrive. Bruce also has a skin allergy and is currently on a sensitive skin and stomach salmon diet, but adopters should follow up with their veterinarian for long term care. Bruce had a dental procedure in the past but it doesn`t slow him down when it comes to meal time! If you are looking for two stunning, easy going, and vocal cats, then stop by the shelter today to say hello to Bruce and Benny.
