Story
Shanti is a 7 year old Toyger (bengal and short hair tabby) who is affectionate, intelligent, and full of personality. She loves interacting with people, enjoys playtime, and is a very vocal cat. She is active and thrives when she has opportunities for play, enrichment, and companionship. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and has been regularly cared for throughout her life. She had a professional dental cleaning approximately two years ago. After extensive veterinary testing—including evaluation for urinary tract infections, kidney disease, liver disease, and bladder stones—our veterinarian has confirmed that she is healthy. She does have a sensitive stomach and eats a prescription diet that works well for her. We are seeking a home that understands her needs. Shanti would do best in a quiet household without dogs or young children. We have to surrender her because she has not adapted to our newborn baby. She has peed on all our babies things. We’re looking for an experienced cat owner

Story
We are looking for a loving home for our 3-year-old purebred Bengal cat named Noah. We got him in 2023 from a breeder in Vista, CA, for $2,000. We are ideally looking for a home with a cat so Noah can have a companion. We just found out I’m pregnant and have made the difficult decision to re-home Noah. He is very active and loves to play with toys, especially his wand. Noah loves to go on walks (more like he walks us lol) with his harness and leash and enjoys stroller rides. We often took him in his stroller to coffee shops and casual restaurants. Noah uses his litter box and never has any accidents. He sometimes cuddles and enjoys being pet. He is extremely intelligent and understands some oral commands (sit, food, walk). Noah has some behavioral issues as expected from a Bengal, such as playfully biting and scratching too hard occasionally, and knocking over items and glasses of water. We believe these behaviors are due to boredom and would improve if he had another cat to play with.

Story
Nala (female) and Simba (male) must be adopted together. Very sweet and cute Bengal cats. Nala is blind- she has retinal degeneration and went blind just before she turned 1 year old. Other than the occasional bump into a cabinet while running, the blindness has not affected her abilities. Nala is still able to learn her surroundings and adjust to new environments. We have lived 3 places with her and she adjusts immediately. She has no fear despite being blind and still tries to sneak out doors. One time she was successful in getting out in 2019 and was hit by a car but survived. She had some dental surgery after the accident and is missing a few teeth. Most people can not believe she is blind as she functions just like any other cat. Simba can be shy at first but both cats are very lovey and like to sit or lay on you. They also love belly rubs. Unfortunately with 3 young kids, one of which is a new baby with health issues, we are no longer able to keep our fur babies.

Story
Mr. Toe “Beans” -DSH Bengal Male, ~18 mo. (Jun 2026) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Beans and his cat friends were abandoned in a small town in West Virginia when his owner moved out of their trailer. The trailer was then severely vandalized, and Beans stayed as he was born there as a kitten and didn’t know where else to go. Beans was rescued by a Bourbon County Rescue volunteer, and she soon realized he was very sweet and friendly and would do great in a loving home. Beans is an amazing, intelligent cat and has a friendly and curious demeanor. He is a beautiful, strong boy with silky soft fur. He has very large paws and will be a large cat when fully grown. Beans enjoys human and feline company, sitting on laps, and loves a good snuggle. See Beans on this video linked to this bio, and on the YouTube KYCatRescue Channel (https://youtube.com/shorts/Ol9UhwvdyBw?feature=share). Beans needs a safe home where he can live inside and enjoy his human! Beans’ adoption fee is $150 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com or an application. Please include your location and a phone number for future communication.
