At 2½ years old and 24 pounds, he’s the perfect size for cuddles, adventures, and everything in between. Oreo came to AFC when his owner moved out of the country, and now he’s ready to start his next chapter with a forever family. He absolutely adores people and enjoys the company of other playful small to medium dogs. He could also do well with a large, gentle companion who respects his friendly nature. This smart little guy already knows “sit”—and he’s eager to learn more! With a little time and consistency, you could teach him commands like “stay,” “down,” “come,” and even fun tricks like “shake” or “roll over.” Oreo walks nicely on a leash, rides calmly in the car, and is housebroken when taken out on a regular schedule. He's been learning how to use a doggie door, he’s a bright boy and will pick it up in no time. Oreo is looking for a home with prior doodle or similar breed experience, as this is a high-maintenance breed that requires regular grooming, exercise, and mental stimulation.
