Story
Mirabel belonged to a family that was not taking care of her. They ran over her leg and did not take her to the vet. The grandmother took her from them because she was dragging a broken leg. The grandmother put her on a chain. Can you believe it?! A Good Samaritan found out about her and got her for us. Mirabel has had the leg removed and is doing great. She is also spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on prevention. She gets along with and plays well with other dogs. Mirabel’s foster mom has a button by the door that Mirabel pushes to let her know she needs to go out to potty. What a great girl and oh so pretty. Thank you for your interest in a Save a Stray pet. The first step is to complete an adoption application. https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Once the application is approved, a FaceTime will be set up for a virtual meet and greet. Since we are located in Mobile, AL, this will give you the opportunity to see the pet interact with other dogs, people, and see a bit of their personality. Transports leave every week alternating between the NE and the Great Lakes. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Sasha is an overweight poodle at 21 pounds and she should be more like 15 pounds.  She could really use an owner to help her lose weight and feel loved again.  She is 6 years old so no need to potty trained this young veteran.  Sasha came to me with another dog after their owner suddenly passed away from health problems.  She is dog and people friendly, walks well on the leash and rides in the car without getting sick.  Her companion was an overweight male chihuahua mix and they had been together a long time.  He has been placed already and now Sasha would love to be in a stable home.   If you are interested in adopting Sasha please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         May 5, 2024, 5:32 pm

Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Oh my goodness, this is the sweetest little guy, I just love him so much.  CARTER is mellow, quiet and a cuddler.  Totally independent but he likes to hang around you.  Although he gets along with all of the dogs in foster home, he would be more comfortable with just one other companion.  I am constantly picking him up and loving on him.  These pictures do not do him justice as he is a baby doll in person.  I am sorry to make a fuss over him but he is just adorable and the best dog! CARTER is 4 years old and only 13 pounds.  He will not get any bigger, he has long legs.  He walks very well on a leash and does not get car sick.
