Story
Finley is 1.5 and has been with us since he was 8 weeks old. He gets along well with our other dogs, as well as our cats and children (8,4 and 3) He is energetic, playful and likes to be near his people and cuddle up next to you on the couch-he’s a very sweet dog. The reason we are rehoming him is because we’ve noticed he has a lot of anxiety that’s become more challenging to navigate. He chews on my kids books and puzzles and there have been some incidents where he poops in the house if he’s anxious about being left home, despite other dogs here to keep him company. We have tried him on anxiety medication but it doesn’t seem to help much. We both have busy schedules, and unfortunately we feel it’s best to rehome him to someone who knows about anxiety in dogs and who can be home in a greater capacity than us. We love him and want to find the best possible home for Finley since this is not an easy decision at all. We have a big yard so a home with a yard and fence would be ideal.
