Story
Baxter is a good boy! Very sweet and loves a good snuggle. He has a fabulous demeanor and is always happy. He's great on walks and loves to play fetch and loves tennis and soccer balls. He's playful and a joy to be around. His birthday is 11/09/23. But he hates our cat (adopted 2016) and is constantly trying to pounce/chase/pin him. He has extremely high anxiety. He doesn't play well with our two kids (he jumps on them and play bites their hands). I think part of it is Baxter is our first dog. He does not like other dogs. He absolutely abhors being in the car and hates it when we take him anywhere. We have tried to correct his behavior. He is groomed regularly. We are a non-smoking household. He needs a lot of attention and would do best being an only-doggo or with humans that are home most of the time. He doesn't play that well with my kids, but he's all bark and no bite. We want him to thrive and live his best life!

Story
Hi, I am Maverick! I am a 3 yr old Bernedoodle who loves to eat, go for walks, and play with toys! I do best with kids who are older and I love other dogs! I have yet to be around cats but I have yet to meet anyone I do not get along with! Being a doodle comes with getting professionally groomed once about every other month with baths at home in between! I need to be brushed on a weekly basis to keep my hair from getting matted. Good thing is I love baths and getting brushed! I listen to my owners when they tell me to sit, stay, and come! I am potty trained and I do well off leash once we have established trust. I am looking for a new family because my owners just welcomed a new baby and I am not adjusting well to a loud home. I am used to things being much more quiet. I need a home with older kids who love to play and a house with a big backyard to run around in. I get anxious at first until I get to know you then I am quick to be comfortable in new places!
