This incredibly sweet little girl is Lucky! She’s a 3 month old mini Bernedoodle and she’s deaf. She is so adorable and will make the perfect bff! Come meet her! We are currently open Wednesday-Thursday by appointment only (closed Tuesdays), Fri and Sat 12-5, Sun and Mon from 11-5, no appointment necessary during those hours. Facebook comments and questions are NOT monitored. If you have questions or would like to schedule an appointment during the week, please email us at dogs@southhillspetrescue.org. No calls please!! Story
Nessie is a sweet dog looking for a forever home with someone who is home often. We found her by the roadside, and although she is microchipped, her previous owners chose not to keep her. She has been shaved to remove mats and treat skin irritation, and she is adorable either way. She is up to date on vaccines, recently spayed, and had a benign cyst removed.Nessie is very well trained and responds to sit, down, off, and wait, especially at mealtime. She prefers to snuggle but will go to her bed when asked.She requires a special diet to manage her skin, currently eating Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein. A 25 lb bag costs about $144 and lasts 4 to 5 weeks. She would do best as the only dog but gets along fine with others and just loves lots of attention.Although she is 8 years old, Nessie is still very active and loves her walks and time outdoors. She does best with regular exercise and enjoys staying engaged throughout the day.She has come a long way and will make a very loyal companion.
